After Roo got his friends out of the cage, Rabbit spotted them. "There they are, and they've got Roo again!" He shouted, charging at Lumpy and Henry. They freaked out, dropped Roo, and ran away. They didn't get far before they were cornered at the edge of a pit full of dead trees. Rabbit, Tigger, Pooh, and Piglet threw ropes around Lumpy and Henry's necks. Kanga jumped in front of them. "What on earth are you guys doing?" She asked. "We're rescuing Roo from the heffalumps." Answered Rabbit. Roo then hopped out with his mama. "Don't be afraid, they're just like us." He said. He then turned to Pooh. "They like honey." He said, causing Pooh to let go of his ropes. He then turned to piglet. "They're afraid." He said, making piglet drop his ropes. "They even like bouncing." He said to Tigger. "So you've gotta un-capture them." He said to everyone. Rabbit dropped his ropes. Lumpy was still scared, so he backed up and lost his footing. Roo tried grabbing a rope to help him, but because Lumpy wouldn't calm down, Roo went flying into the air. Henry tried to catch him with his trunk but he missed. Roo fell into the pit of dead trees. His friends all tried to help Kanga remove the dead trees, but they were much too heavy. Lumpy knew what to do. He ran to the edge of the woods and tried to trumpet. But all he got was a farting noise. He tried again, but got the same result as the last time. He looked back at the pit and thought about Roo. He tried one more time to trumpet and succeeded. Henry smiled. "He's finally found his heffalump call." He thought to himself. Meanwhile in the woods, Eli heard something coming from the hundred acre wood. "Guys, I think I just heard a loud trumpet coming from the hundred acre wood." He said. "Let's go, everybody!" Heffridge shouted, trumpeting loudly as he and Henrietta followed the sound. "Lumpy, Henry, are you boys alright?" They asked. "We're fine, mom and dad, but our friend Roo's in trouble. Can you help him?" The two brothers answered. "Don't worry, we're on it." Said Henrietta as she and Heffridge walked over to where Roo was trapped. Eli, however, was introducing his friends to his parents. Suddenly, everyone heard a mighty crash and panicked. But Eli quickly reassured them it was just Henrietta throwing a tree to the side. But when she tried to pull Roo out, she couldn't reach him. Neither could Heffridge. "What will we do?" They thought. Then, as if by magic, Eli and Henry had the same idea at the same time. "Guys, if we tie all the ropes together, we can make a long rope to rescue Roo." They said. Rabbit was a little reluctant. Lumpy looked at him. "You got a better suggestion, long ears?" He asked. Tigger smirked. "I think I'm starting to like this kid." He said, gently elbowing Rabbit as they tied the ropes together. Soon, the ropes were tied together and one end was thrown into the pit. "Grab the rope, Roo!" Shouted Kanga. Roo grabbed it and gently pulled it to let them know he had it in his hands. Slowly, Lumpy began pulling it up. When he finally got Roo up, Kanga raced to her baby, scooped him up, and kissed him a lot. Rabbit apologized to Lumpy and his family, and then Lumpy convinced his parents to move to the hundred acre wood, so there was a lot of construction going on, but that's a story for another day
