Deafness from birth, other than genetic reasons, is caused by Prematurity, Low birth weight, Birth injuries, Toxins including drugs and alcohol consumed by the mother during pregnancy, Complications associated with the Rh factor in the blood/jaundice, Lack of oxygen (anoxia), etc.
There just happened to a deaf boy at my school.
His name was Luke and he was the worst person ever. Blond hair, blue eyes and perfect skin; everyone always gave him so much attention for being deaf. They always tried to help him.
But why did he get so much attention for having disability?
