-Y/n's POV-

I was staring at two new people. I'm unsure of their names but seemed like they were allied with the purple hair person I first saw.

I decided to let my guard down a bit since they seemed a bit.. intimated by my appearance and voice..

-Slight timeskip cause introductions are boring kinda-

So I'm sitting with Rachel, Dick, and Victor. Dick and Victor agreed to testing out my abilities.

When they did I glanced at Rachel to see if she was happy about that, she was.

Seeing her faintly smile made me slightly smile as well.

We all got up and Rachel released a spell she had casted that looked like a shield.

We then headed to a room that was pretty dark.. my eyes quickly adjusted to the dark.

I cant see mu-GAH!

So bright..!

I had to shut my eyes and cover my face. I groaned in annoyance.

I heard Dick quickly apologize and turned down the brightness in the space.

I shook my head and raised my hand as a reply.

I was then instructed to sit down on a chair. I felt uneasy with an uncomfortable familiarity with this.

Rachel seemed to have noticed as she placed a hand shoulder and gently rubbed it with her thumb.

I slightly moved closer to her.

Victor and Dick were talking to one another about something but I didn't listen in since Rachel spoke.

"Is everything alright?" She looked down at me softly.

I nodded and looked back in her direction. "Thank you."

She smiled then looked at the two males across the room. "You guys ready?" They both nodded.

Dick walked up to me with something in his hand. "All I need to see is your reactions to things, including your reflexes. I need to see how quick you're able to dodge darts."

I raised an eyebrow in confusion.. I glanced at his hands holding darts, and they looked sharp. Hm I like a challenge.

I grinned, "alright when are we starting?"

"Now. Come on."

He walked away and I followed with Rachel slightly close behind me.

I was told to stand still somewhere and Dick walked somewhere a bit more farther away to get proper throws.

"Ready??" He semi yelled.

I nodded and tried to focus to my best ability.

Inhale.

Hold it...

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold it...

Exhale.

I stood proper and stared at the darts.

He then began to throw them to his best ability.

Whoosh!

The first dart came by slower than I thought... hm.

Is he weaker than I expected..?

I was able to dodge the first ones with ease. I looked confused as I was dodging.

Dick seemed to have taken a notice to it and he looked slightly annoyed. His eye twitched and he huffed out.

All of a sudden the darts came flying towards me much faster than before! I was lucky I dodged every one of them.

After that, they took note of my reflexes. I was then asked about any abilities I have. I did say yes, my flame ability of course that has always been present.

We then tested my flames. Dick and Victor seemed to take a liking on seeing if I can create a shield of some sort.

I shrugged and make an attempt of one. Rachel ended up taking part by using her magic to try and pass my flames.

But she was able to.

They put that idea aside and wanted to see my fighting style technique. Preparing for that I folded up my sleeves and warmed up a bit.

I was going to spar with Dick. He grabbed his staff and got ready. I did as well.

Once we began Dick took the staff apart into two and threw one towards me like a spear. I dodged with a rough jump. I landed on all fours but gained my balance at the end by my tail stabilizing my landing.

I picked up the piece that was thrown and dashed towards him. He attempted a kick but I dodged by sliding and getting behind him.

I then hooked my leg with his and spun him to the ground. I then let go and stepped back once I heard a groan by him.

I looked at Rachel and Victor to see if I did anything wrong. Victor smiled at me and Rachel nodded. Seemed it was alright.

I reached out my hand to him and he sighed and grabbed it.

Once I pulled him up to his feet he put his hands on his hips. "Alright! One of you two take on them. I've had my time."

I watched him walk back with a slight stumble. I stared in concern. He then turned around and sat down. Once he caught my glance he put a thumbs up. Good.

Victor seemed to take me on next as he walked towards me with a smile on his face. He seems ready.

"You'll get to be at full power when going against Rachel! Now we can start whenever you're ready!" He seemed full of energy.

"Am I set to the same training I did with Dick?" I questioned.

Victor shook his head and raised one of his arms. In a blink of an eye it transformed into a cannon..?

I silently pointed at his arm. He looked at it and smiled. "What? Never seen something like this before??" He lightly slapped his arm a few times.

I shook my head and waved my hand. "It's fine, I can get used to this new.. form of technology." I slightly smiled and stood tall preparing for the fight.

956 words!! Woohoo!! I'm getting somewhat better with writing more. Since I don't have much to do I've been trying to use that spare time into writing.
