I wake up refreshed, as the birds outside my window chirp rhythmically and the gently breeze flows through my room- Just kidding, this is real life and things don't work out that way. Who the hell even sleeps with their window wide open in the first place? Especially when your room is on the first floor. You're just asking to be robbed, killed, or maybe even kidnapped by those overage, sexy mafia dudes. You never know.

"WHY'EN, GET YOURSELF OUT HERE RIGHT NOW, OR ELSE IM GONNA BURN YOUR CEREAL." I roll my eyes at my mother's yelling. How the hell are you gonna burn cereal? You must be a horrible cook if you go to that extent. Especially since it's not supposed to be cooked in the first place. Also, yes, my name is Why'en. It's pronounced just like the letters 'Y' and 'N'. Let's just say my parents loved reading back in the day.

"I'm comi-" I shook my head knowing damn well we're not like that, "I'm on my way out there." I quickly get up and put on some of my Lightning McQueen drip, and grab my matching mini backpack that says 'Kachow' on it.

I walk into the kitchen feeling very confident since I know my outfit is better than any other outfit in this town. They could never top this.

My father put down his newspaper, looked at me, grimaced and spoke. "I always knew you were adopted."

I always knew you were a hater and here we are. I very obviously rolled my eyes at him since he wasn't gonna do anything anyways.

"No, I think she gets her style from your side of the family..." My mother says slowly as she puts some cereal on a plate, hands it to me with a glass of milk and pats my head. I happily start eating while tuning out most of my parents talking and ignoring the fact she put cereal on a plate. You can't choose your parents sadly.

I finally finish eating and put my plate and glass in the sink, while attempting to sneak back to my room to skip school. I usually never go to the first day of school anyways.

"Why'en, we're not letting you skip your first day anymore, especially since this is a new school." My father said to me while raising his eyebrow at me. My mother stood up and handed me my bookbag, which I don't even know where she got it because I could've sworn it was in my room.

"You're also walking to your new school without any directions and I expect you not to be a second late or else you're in big trouble." My mother added as she faced me towards the door. "Love you sweetheart, have a good day."

Then, all of a sudden, I heard the door shut and realized I was outside. I stood there for a minute trying to figure out when I actually walked outside but decided it was useless since we're running off of your average story logic anyways.

I walked down the street taking out my phone to check the time. It was 8:55 am, and there was no way I was gonna make it there in 5 minutes. I might sleep with the hobos under the bridge tonight, 'cause I'm never gonna hear the end of it from you know who.

I sighed looking down at my outfit. It sucks that nobody is gonna be able to witness my amazing attire. I slumped and sat on the ground of an empty lot full of grass. Some of my old friends told me to touch grass all the time when I discussed my theory of how vehicles could mate. Of course I never understood what that meant because touching grass really didn't do anything.

I saw a dark figure out the corner of my eye and stood still to see if it would stay there. It looked as if it was getting closer so I quickly turned around thinking I would catch someone lurking.

Sadly I didn't catch anyone lurking. All I seen was more tall grass and a huge pile of shite very close to my right hand. I stood up in disgust and continued on my way to school making sure to remember that if anyone got on my nerves, I would be sure to shake their hand.

As I continued my treacherous walk through the streets towards my new high school, a red race car zoomed pass me as Bill Nye the Science Guy's theme song was playing loudly from it. I love my neighborhood, they have elite taste in music.

As the red car zooms out of sight, I hear a guitar playing in the distance and decide to head towards the direction of it since I have literally nothing to lose right now. I get closer and hide behind a few branches and crouch to get a better view. The playing was beautiful and I could listen to it all day. As soon as I got a clear view, I saw a dog playing the guitar.

"WHAT? WHAT DA DOG DOIN??!!!!" I immediately exclaim and stand up so fast I hit my head on a tree branch. Forgot to mention that I am 8'9 and could easily end most NBA player's careers but back to the story.

"Playing the guitar, as you can see." The dog replied. I stood there in shock for a moment before shrugging my shoulders and running off to school as the dog started playing the guitar again.

I thought Scooby-Doo was the only dog that could talk. Huh, I guess you learn more everyday.

I look up to see my high school after what it seems like hours of running. I smile slightly and check the time on my phone. My smile is quickly wiped off my face as I realize that it's 12:23pm and 4 hours have passed. Mother is definitely making burnt cereal for breakfast tomorrow. It is what it is.

I roll my shoulders back and get ready to enter the school knowing sure as hell that I'm gonna get more hoes than the guys ever will with my Lightning McQueen drip on.
