DAKARI THOMAS SET TO JOIN KRISTEN BELL AND TED DANSON IN THE GOOD PLACE

                          
Congratulations to Dakari Thomas, most notably known for his roles as Issa Hughes on Supernatural and Hakim Johnson in Just Because, who we've learned has just been cast in The Good Place, the upcoming NBC comedy from Michael Schur. He's set to star as anxious and indecisive philosophy professor Chidi Anagonye, who finds himself in an ethical dilemma when he opts to join the self-help journey of Eleanor Shellstrop (Bell). 

                          
Having played best friends on the afro-mentioned Supernatural, this casting reunites Dakari and Kristen once again. While this is cause for a lot of fans to rejoice, some were left wondering what will become of Issa Hughes. After recently moving into the bunker to be with his boyfriend, Dean Winchester, it won't be as easy to write off the character if that is the route they'll go. Safe to say that a lot of eyes will be on Dakari and Supernatural, eager to see what comes next.
