I was looking for my headache pills in my office when my dad walked in
Dad: you missed a meeting again
Me: my bad I was busy
Dad: busy with what..gossiping with trey or bothering ivie
Me: I was busy making a deal
I put the pill in my mouth and swallowed it
Dad: mhm don't do this again
Me: or what Tristan you gonna replace me..with who
Dad: with ya brother if you keep acting like this..what the hell are you reading
I ignored him and went back looking at my file on ivie
Me: reading a business deal for you in Miami
He didn't say anything and walked out and in walked in ivie
Ivie: are you okay
Me: I'm fine
I Slouched down in my chair and avoided eye contact with her
Ivie: he ripped yo ass didn't he
Me: I mean I missed a few meetings maybe two or three
Ivie: umm actually you missed five
Me: okay but I be busy working
Ivie snickers a bit
Ivie: yeah okay you be "working" my ass
Me: see this is why I told you I was fine
Ivie: well get it together boss or you gonna be out of here like ya daddy said
