18. Fun & Disappointments

Jannat once again laughed. While Sid had a slight blush. He glared at Jannat but she seemed unaffected.

This whole time when Jannat and Sid were talking Avneet was looking at them from corner of her eyes. She was not able to hear what they were talking. Then she saw Jannat said something and Sid blushed and then Jannat pulled his cheek while Sid blushed more. Avneet smiled seeing him happy. 

Jai: oyy Jannat, Sid stop you talks and Jannat you please tell us...

Riyaz: haa Jaan batao na...

Jannat: yeahh soo tum 6 ke buzzers mein alag alag sensers the like agar Avu ya aashu apna buzzer press karege toh mere iss tab mein red light hogi if Jaireem karege toh blue and if it's Rinushka then it will be green.... And yeh sirf tum 6 k buzzer mein hi tha isiliye tumne dekha na that mene sirf tum logo ka naam liya.....

Jannat said Smiling.

Siddharth: wow u r turning smart... Akhir frnd kiski hainnn

Siddharth said raising his collar..
Avneet: merii...

Everyone giggled while Sid pouted.

Jai: so bas itna hi thaa celebration???

Jannat: come let's go upstairs... aap do couples ko privacy bhi toh deni padegi na....
Jannat said winking towards Jaireem and Rinushka.

Reem and Anushka: I love uhhhh
Both said hugging Jannat.

Jannat : dekho I have 3 rooms... Rinushka these are your keys... Jaireem yours.... And I Avu and Sid will be there in one room...

She handed them their keys. Everyone went to their respective rooms.

Avneet: guys u both carry on mujhe kuch kaam hai so I will be back in sometime...
Avneet said making an excuse as she thought:

Avneet (thought): yeh dono ek dusre k sath jitna time spend karge utna acha and now that Valentine's Day is over, mein jitna Siddharth se dur rahugi utna hi acha hai...

Sid: areehhhh... pura din kaam kaam kaam chup chap chal...badme kar lena kaam.
Siddharth said holding Avneet's wrist.

Jannat: haan Avu.. aashu is right... come na.. please.
Jannat also requested.

Avneet: nahi Jaan plzz I have to go... Siddharth can u please leave my hand...
Avneet said struggling to free her hand. She didn't look in his eyes while he was still gazing at her. 

Siddharth dropped her hand and went from there being angry as well as upset.

Avneet: chal bye Jaan
Avneet said and then she went away.

Jannat went behind Siddharth.

Jannat: Aashu yaar u shouldn't have come like this... usko kitna bura laga hoga....
Jannatsaid as they both stepped inside the room.

Siddharth (frustrated): oh seriously Jannat... USKO bura laga hoga??? haan chal I came that way par toh kya karta usne jo kiya tune nahi dekha... Actually wait galti meri hi hai yeh 2 din mein me usse apni Avneet manne laga tha... mein kese bhul gaya that woh meri Avneet to hai hi nahi... uss body mein koi aur Avneet hai.... Meri vali Avneet nahi 3 years pehle uss body me thi Nahi aaj hai... it's my fault... I had raised my expectations so high I thought everything will be as it was before but nope how can I forget Expectations leads to disappointments... Aur mere saath bhi woh hi huaa... yar kya karu Jaan I cant help it. I love her damn it... Why doesn't she get it...

Tears were coming out of his eyes.

Jannat Hugged him tightly.

Jannat: don't worry... mein kuch karti hoon.. I cant see ulike this....

She also had tears in her eyes.

Sid: nahi Jannat tum kuch baat nahi karogi usse... uski wajah se u r also crying.. and I don't want that. So just Forget that she exists.. woh sirf aur sirf meri neighbor hai.. nothing else... promise me tum kuch nahi karogi..

Siddharth said extending his hand. And he wiped her tears.
Jannat: I promise..

Sid smiled a little and went inside the bathroom.

Jannat (to herself): I have to know why Avneet is behaving like this.... there has to be somereason...but how will I do it without breaking aashu's trust. Bcoz is he findsout that I did something.. he will thank me later and kill me first..
