Instead of negative tropes
We need new tropes to
Represent black women
And girls in a positive
Way
We don't need no damaging
Racial tropes in the
Reboot at all
We deserve better for
The Proud Family reboot
Dark skin characters don't
Need to be seen
As incompetent and less than
I'm just saying the truth
They want to be heard
From the producers
Some things needed to be
Changed for the better
We have a right to demand
For a change in
This show
So when I say we need
A change
I say we really do need
It
So give us some positive tropes
In the reboot for everyone
Who has watched The
Proud Family in the past
So hear our pleas, producers
And make this reboot better
For your fans out there
Who are counting on you
We hope you make your decisions
