In no time he arrived at the school, having not lived far. He inwardly praised himself for putting on his gym stuff before walking, as changing in the club room was not something he wanted to risk. But making the trip up there anyways he said a quick hello to Sugawara and Daichi, ignored the bean pole as usual, and hit Hinata with his bag as a morning greeting.
"Kageyama!! You didn't race me this morning? What the heck!" Hinata complained sourly, a slight pout mixed with a frown on his face.
Raising his eyebrow at the ginger's antics Kageyama snickered "I would have won anyways idiot"
"No way!"
"Yeah!"
"No-"
"Alright alright it's to early for this you two." Sugawara said with a sweet but dangerous smile making the culprits gulp. "You don't want laps before practice do you?" He threatened.
"Hey you don't have the authority!" Hinata defied placing his hands on his hips.
"Yes he does, I give him the authority" Daichi chuckled as he walked to the door, Suga following that with an "I told you so"
Hinata gasped, appalled "Abuse of power!"

As soon as Kageyama had walked into that changing room, as usual Tsukishima had ignored him. After all he did that everyday. But lately he couldn't help but notice that the setter seemed a bit skinner then when he last saw him. He wasn't sure if anyone else had noticed it, maybe they had and they weren't saying anything. He knew he should ask. But the last thing he wanted to do was get involved. It wasn't his business.
It had thrown him off however to see that he was wearing a jacket to practice. The setter almost always wore a t-shirt. Sometimes a sweater, but he would normally take it off before warming up. But this time, he didn't. Strange, but still not Tsukishima's business.
As time went on through warm up he noticed the setter becoming increasingly sluggish, he seemed half there. Something was definitely off, and it was really getting on Kei's nerves. Why the hell was he the only one noticing this, and why was the setter being so stubborn when something was clearly wrong. It was basically becoming his business at this point.
Cursing at his stupid conscience the blond walked over to the setter with a sigh. "Hey king." He half shouted earning a glare from Kageyama. "Set for me"
The boy looked confused at this scoffing with an eyebrow raised. "Huh?"
"What need me to spell it out for you? Set for me."
"But you don't usually-" Kageyama started with a suspicious look on his face, clearly he thought something was up.
"I don't care, Daichi wants me to get used to your sets so just indulge me for a bit okay? Get off your high horse for once." He spat out.
That whole interaction wasn't quite what he had in mind, but he had always had a hard time keeping his temper in check when it came to the other. That aside, Tobio was just as stubborn, if not more.
But he couldn't help but notice the distant look on the setters face after his remark. Maybe it was possible he went too far? No, probably not, after all Tsuki and Kageyama had always had a rivalry like this. And it likely wouldn't be any different now.
