Months later

School is over now. Sunghoon and Jay go out of the school with a bright smiles on their faces. Jay puts his middle fingers up and says:

—Fuck you school! Its over now!

Sunghoon laughs and rolls his eyes, Jay is dumb sometimes, but he likes him anyway. Jay says:

—We could go out tonight, did a little party with Jungwon and Sunoo before we go tomorrow?

—I need to finish packing my stuff before. And also well nothing thats fine.

—Oh well I understand. I think Ill spend my evening with Jungwon.

—Thats fine, Sunghoon says with a little smile on his face.

—And will you tell Sunoo about university? We are moving tomorrow you know?

—Yes I need to do it.

—Youll stay with him, no?

Sunghoon sighs and looks down. He cant stay with Sunoo if he goes to university. Jay looks at Sunghoon and raises his eyebrows. Jay says:

—Wait you

—Yes I cant stay with him. It will be too hard for us.

—Dude

—No, thats fine Jay, I know whats best for me. I dont think its a good idea to stay with him, hurting us, crying all the time because its hard. I think about it and I know its the best for me.

Jay raises his eyebrows. He looks at Sunghoon and sighs. He says:

—Well you know whats good for you. I support your choice.

—Thank you, Jay.

—So when will tell him?

—Now.

Sunghoon goes in his car and drives to Sunoos house. His heart beats fast, his legs are shaking, he bites his lips and feels so anxious. He feels like he is doing the wrong thing, be he cant stay with Sunoo. When Sunghoon is finally parked, he goes out of the car and takes a big breath. He closes his eyes and walks to Sunoos door. He climbs the stairs and put his hands on the ramp. The sound of his step makes him feel anxious. He feels like he is about to die. Sunghoon knocks at Sunoos door and sighs. Sunoo opens the door and seems surprised to see Sunghoon with a sad face. Sunoo says:

—Are you ok?

—Sunoo I need to tell you something I had a choice to make, being at the university that I want since Im born or stay here and just never do what I want I decide to go to the university of my dream.

Sunoos eyes are wet, his heart is totally destroyed by Sunghoon news. Sunoos world is frozen. He feels like the crown he was wearing is now frozen in the past. Sunoo starts to cry. Sunoo feels his heart is dead and he says:

—Sunghoon I dont want you to go

—Im so sorry Sunoo, Sunghoon says while he is taking a big breath.

Sunghoon jumps in Sunoos arms and he starts to cry. Sunghoon felt so good in Sunoos arms, never Sunoo was that nice to hug. He says with a shaking voice:

—Fuck Sunoo I love you.

—Sunghoon I love you too. Why havent you tell me before, Sunoo says without any glitters in his eyes.

—Im sorry. I promise, one day we will meet again Sunoo, trust me, Sunghoon says without looking at him.

—I will always trust you Sunghoon. I love you. But can I text you?

—Sunoo we never gonna see each other during school time, Ill be really busy with school and everything you know I dont want you to be sadder. I love you like I never loved someone, I spend a lot of perfect moments with you, you make me feel special.

—Sunghoon! I dont want you to go. You abandoned me! I dont deserve it! I I dont want, Sunoos says with a shaking voice.

Sunoo heart is raising too fast. When his heart was raising that fast, it was the first time he was with Sunghoon.

—I dont want to let you go Sunoo. The only thing I want is your happiness. Live your life, do everything you want and be happy, ok, Sunghoon says while he grabs Sunoos face. He kisses him passionately and says:

—Sunoo, I love you; do you know it?

—Yes but Sunghoon I cant live without you.

—Sunoo you are a good boy and I know that you can live without me. I love you Sunoo, from the bottom of my heart I love you as I would never love someone; I love you like I never loved someone before. I promise, one day we will meet again.

Sunghoon slams the door, and he starts to cry. Sunoo opens the door and scream:

—Sunghoon! No!

Sunoo runs at Sunghoon but Sunghoon doesnt turn his head. Sunghoon is crying, he cant see clearly. He enters his car and starts it as fast as he can. He is crying like he never cries before. He can feel his heart sank. He can hear Sunoos voice resonate in his mind. His hands are shaking, he can feel the coldness of his heart, he never felt as empty as now. The colors outside are boring, the sun is playing hide and seek and the clouds have never been as grey. The wind is cold and strong. Sunghoon feels like a leave, so fragile and weak.

Sunghoon will regret it, he knows it, but love is ephemeral.
