Chapter 1: Alpha

A perfect life: Money to spend for a lifetime, a reputation that holds respect and admiration, a character that capture everyone's hearts, a talent that blows away the mind of people and touching their hearts and a beauty that speaks for itself.

Kwon yuri

   The one and only heiress of two giant companies in Korea, the Kwon enterprises practically managed by her father which is one of the biggest and most successful companies in the country and the KCTI (Kim Couture & Textile Industries) owned by her mother's family, her mother is the current CEO and one of the top fashion designers locally and internationally. Her parents separated when she was 5, due to their businesses and busy schedules they often argue and decided to end things by living separately, they didn't get divorced though because they are both busy to be attending to such matters, this fact gave Yuri the slightest hope that her parents will get back togeher someday. Even though her parents barely took care of her Yuri still grew up to be the perfect daughter anyone could wish for, she's very understanding and loving, she didn't hold grudge against her parents and they were very thankful for that. Yuri is now 20 years old and she is currently living on her own unit in Seoul, this is to avoid any further conflict among her parents both wanting to live with her.

Today is her first day in college, she's taking up Fine Arts as a photography major. Yuri wanted to be able to  make her own exhibit someday, this is her passion her dream, her Perfect Wish.

"Kwon Yuri...... yah! Yuri-ah...!" , -a short girl with a cute face called to her

"oh.. Taeyeon-ah.... what are you doing here I thought you already left for the US.??"  -Yuri asked the short girl

"Ahm... yeah I was supposed to fly yesterday but I suddenly felt like staying here till we graduate college"

"Really?.. well that's great atlest I have someone to talk to.. so.. you're taking up medicine?" - Yuri asked as she ruffled Taeyeon's hair

"........... nah.. I'm taking up music........" -.-

Yuri was really surprised by taeyeon's choice. Taeyeon is her chidhood friend both of her parents are doctors, her father was a cariothoracic surgeon and is one of the best in the country, while her mother was a neurologist. Her family owns the biggest hospital in Seoul. When they were yong Taeyeon always tells her that she would be just like her parents, become a great doctor and manage their hospital someday. Yuri wondered what happend? Why did Taeyeon choose music over her dream of becoming a doctor, she knows that her friend was a great singer but never to the extent of giving up being doctor to pursue music.

* Classroom *

Yuri and Taeyeon were in the same art class. They were the first students in the classroom, few minutes later, two girls entered the room chatting. One blonde and the other one with red hair, they were both stunning and they look rich. Yuri stood up and approached the girls.

" Hi girls, I am Kwon Yuri and that's my friend Kim Taeyeon" , pointing at taeyeon and smiling at the girls

The redhaired girl stood up and extends her hand to Yuri

"Hello I'm Tiffany Hwang and this is Jessica Jung, nice to meet you Yuri, Taeyeon", she said then smiled

Yuri went closer to the blonde girl who doesn't seem to care

"Hey Jessica you seem familiar, is it possible that we've met before?", yuri said with her sincerest smile

Jessica stood up and faced Yuri with a frown and glared at her

"Yeah..? familliar right..?!.. yeah.. we've met before, you're the stupid girl who knocked off my coffee...!! .. in my face....!!!!", she said furiously

—-> Flashback

Yuri was in a coffe shop, she just finished oredering their breakfast. She was about to go out when she suddenly lost her balance and bumped into the table where a blonde hair was sitting spilling hot coffee on her.

" What the hell are you doing???!!!... are you blind??.." the blonde said almost cursing at Yuri

Yuri who seemed a little dizzy tried to get her balance back and apologized for what happened

"Uhh, I'm sorry miss I didn't mean to.. I'm really sorry.. I just...............(SLAP!!)"

" Sorry? Sorry? ahh.. you're stupid.. damn it's hot and you ruined my dress", the girl said and stormed out of the coffee shop.

"I'm sorry...." yuri said before leaving that place, her face was so red not only from the slap but also from the embarrasment she experienced that day

Yuri stood there frozen as she recalled the unpleasant event, then she bowed as low as she can and apologized again to Jessica

"I'm really sorry, I don't know what happened that day I suddenly lost my balance and........" she wasn't able to finish her sentence when she heard Jessica walking away from her

"..Argggh.. why do we have the same class with that stupid girl..." she said loudly

hearing what jessica said Yuri was hurt and once again EMBARRASSED, seeing that Yuri was offended by her friend's reaction Tiffany held Yuri's hand and smiled at her

"I'm sorry.. she's just.... just..... uhm.. well she's the Ice Princess..", tiffany said and followed Jessica to her seat

Taeyeon stood there dumbfounded, not understanding the argument

" What was that about?" she asked

Yuri was still in shock after what happend and returned to her seat next to Taeyeon

"....uhhh.. nothing.. I guess she doesn't like me.." , she said and forced a smile

On the other hand

"Jess.., why did you do that...?"

"do what?..."

"that...", tiffany points at yuri who's looking at the window beside her looking hurt

"..well, that's what happened and...."

"..and..??"

"..well, drop it Fany-ah.... I just hate that stupid girl.... she's....", jessica looked at yuri wondring if she overreacted

"..what??", tiffany said

"..nevermind, i just hate her.."

JESSICA'S POV

" was it too much?.."

she looks at Yuri again, she looks like a wounded puppy.. her eyes are almost watery and she seems like she's about to cry..

" But she deserved it.... i didn't do anything wrong.."

one by one the students entered the room but Yuri was still silent

"...arrrggh.. I don't care.. I still hate her!!!"
