Nandini turns around, the doctor takes her hand and injects her with the glucose dose. Nandini does not flinch a bit but she could see manik who closed his eyes tightly. Nandini breaks out in a smile seeing him.
"Ho Gaya" the doctor says, manik opens his eyes and looks at them.
"Ab aap ko weakness nahi hogi and mr Malhotra Acha hua ki Aapne inse baatein karke unko thoda jagah ke rakha warna Pata nahi Kya hota" the doctor says, Nandini and manik look at each other making an eye contact.
"aur mrs Malhotra please be careful agar aap aise lifts mein jaate ho toh check karo ke hundred percent work kar rahi hai ya nahi" the doctor advices her, Nandini nods smiling.
"Okay so I'll take a leave you please take care" he says, Nandini smiles and nods.
The doctor leaves closing the cabin door behind them.
Manik and Nandini look at each other as awkwardness arises between them. Manik walks over to Nandini.
"Tum theek ho na" Manik asks her
"Haan ab theek hu" Nandini nods giving a faint smile
"Waise mujhe nahi pata tha ki tumhe claustrophobia hai" manik looks at her
"Haan Woh bachpan se" Nandini looks down, as the bad memories flash in front of her.
"Oh" manik looks away nodding
"Waise mujhe bhi nahi Pata tha ki tumhe trypanophobia hai" Nandini teases him
"Mujhe koi phobia nahi hai" manik says proudly
"Achaa tumhe Pata bhi hai trypanophobia Kya hai" Nandini asks him raising her eyebrows
"Nahi Lekin hoga Kuch bemetlab ka" Manik says
"Trypanophobia ka Matlab hai injections ka darr" Nandini presses her lips
"Haan injections se darr toh lag—" manik says but stops as he realises what he was about to say.
Nandini bursts in to laughter, manik turns and looks at her. She was laughing uncontrollably which made manik mesmerised seeing her laugh like this. He probably saw her laugh fully like this after ages.
Nandini looks at manik while laughing and realises he was looking at her. She stops laughing.
"Nahi nahi aur thoda haslo" Manik says
"Tumhe sacchi injections se darr lagta hai" Nandini laughs
"Very funny" he rolls his eyes
"Waise toh bade akad mein rehte ho ki manik Malhotra yeh manik Malhotra Woh...aur yaha toh manik Malhotra toh injections se darta hai" Nandini mocks him.
"Bas Bas kisne kaha mein darta hu Woh toh bas tumhare liye darr lag raha tha" he tries to make up an excuse
"Rightttt" Nandini nods trailing away.
"Waise thank you lift mein Meri help karne ke liye" Nandini looks at him
As manik was about to say something there was a knock on the door.
