Wrong Place at the Wrong Time Part 1

Skylar's POV

"So? What happen?" Addison said.

I knew that she was getting impatient and I was running out of excuses.

"Do I have to?"

"Yes, it's for the sake of me and the sake of the viewers!"

"Wait, what?!"

"Nothing...let's not get off topic here. I'm the one asking the question...and I'M the interrogator here!"

You're not an interrogator and this isn't a detective movie so..."

"Yes, I am."

"Still not an interrogator."

"Okay, not the point. Are you gonna tell me or not?

"FINE! Before I continue, I may or may not have seen someone I knew..." I said, giving her a sheepishly cheesy smile.

"Who was it?"

"You'll find out soon enough. So, here's what happen:

Earlier That Day...

Addison had just sent me a text, inviting me for some smoothies at Yolo's. Who would pass up on that? No one, that's who. At the moment I was baby-sitting my sister Gabby (who I metioned in Chapter 2). Did I also metion that she's really annoying and thinks she knows everything?

Forgot.

"Skylar? Can we go shopping?"

"And with what money?"

I don't have a job so I'm broke. The only allowance I get is 10 dollars every 2 weeks and that isn't enough in my perspective. Every time I ask for a raise, it's the same answer.

No

"I'm gonna call mommy."

"Do what you want. I need to get ready to go over to Yolo's with Addison."

Before I walked upstairs my phone rung.

"Hello?"

"This is your mother. How's Gabby?"

"Bored and getting on MY last nerves."

"Okay, maybe I could send you some money so you and your sister can go shopping?

"Sure, why not!"

"Okay give me just a minute..."

Five Minutes Later...

"I sent you 100 dollars. 60 for you and 40 for Gabby."

Her voice wasn't as happy sound as it was before.

"It's at the bank isn't it?"

"Yeah. The BankGood app isn't working properly so you have to pick the money up yourself."

"Okay but... what am I going to do about Gabby?"

"Keep her in your room. She won't even notice your gone if she on the tablet."

"Good idea! Thanks Mom-wait, what am I going to do about Addison?"

"You could cut the smoothies short...actually, you could ask her if she could come to the mall too!"

"Great idea!" I said as I hung up.

"Wait. When were you going to tell me that?" Addison said, interupting me.

"What does it look like? I was going to! Plus...I kinda left my phone at the house..."

"Really Sky? Do bet-"

"Can I continue?"

"Fine...no more interuptions..."

(Hi, author here. Just letting you know that if a sentence like what is up there, is in italics then it's the present. Panther OUT!)

"Okay Gabby, here's the deal. As long as you stay in my room, you can play on the tablet."

"DEAL!"

Then she ran upstairs and closed the door.

The room went silent.

"Well that was easier than I thought." I said to myself.

"Meow."

I'm pretty sure that meant "I know right!" in cat language.

I picked up Angela, locked her in the room with Gabby (So she wouldn't cause any mischief while I was gone) and walked right out the door.

At that moment, I felt like I was forgetting somethin-

"You mean your phone?"

"What did I say about interrupting?" I said, getting annoyed.

"Sorry, just had to get it out there. Continue."

I gave her a glare. "I'm watching you....Okay, let me try that again."

At that moment I felt like I was forgetting something. I didn't worry about it too much because I wasn't going to be gone for long. The walk was actually pretty boring. I only walked past a man drowned into his phone, an old lady sitting in a chair relaxing, a snobby looking woman walking around with a dog in her purse and two other people who I ignored since I was really close to the bank.

When I opened the door a boy about my age went through and we both went falling to the floor.

I sighed.

"Third time this week."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. This is the second time thi- wait, Skylar?"

Then I actually looked at the boy's face.

"Collin? What-what are you doing here?

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!! YOU SAW COLLIN?!?!?" Addison said, literally screaming.

I wouldn't be surprise if someone asked us to leave. I would ask me and Addison to leave myself.

"Not so loud!"

"Sorry, you saw COLLIN??"

"Um...yeah?" I said blushing."

"Now I KNOW I can't interrupt. This is getting GOOD!!"

"Can I go on? Please?"

"Yeah, yeah. Go on." she said, slurping her smoothie.

"Oh, well the bank app wasn't working so I had to come to the bank myself. If Tiffany saw me in here, I don't know what she would say."

Ugh...

Just hearing Tiffany's name is annoying.

"Bu then again, I guess it wouldn't be too bad since a lot of other teens are here getting money out themselves. I'm guessing you're here for that too huh?"

"Yep, correctamundo! 100% correct!

Stupid, stupid stupid...

He chuckled a bit.

Then we both awkwardly stood there.

"We really need to watch where we are going." Collin said.

"Yeah, we might actually hurt ourselves one day."

We both smiled at each other.

Then I heard an alarm.

"What was that?" I said, starting to panic.

What was that? Typical movie response.

The door busted open with three men and a woman in black masks coming in with guns and bags.

"Everyone to the floor!!! This is a bank robbery!!!" said one of the men.

Probably the leader or something...

Me and Collin were pushed to the floor by the woman. We were all very worried...well, I was very worried.

What was my first thought?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,

It's (you guessed it) Panther!!! Haha! I told you that wasn't the only cliffhanger! The next chapter is going to be a little intense. If I were you (and not the writer) then I would be screaming right along with you. Sadly, I'm not. I'm only the "non-fangirl" writer here. :(

So I know that you guys don't know much about Collin and his backstory but what kind of guy do you think Collin is? Is he nice? Is he shy? (definitely not)
