For the longest time now mason had been thinking about proposing to Chloe, although fearing that it was too soon and they were still so young, but he had enough of those thoughts and took it upon himself to go out ring shopping with sav and molly knowing they were the best people to accompany him.

"You guys don't think it's too soon right?" He asked while the three of them walked towards the shopping centre, although he shouldn't, Mason had always valued people's opinions especially the ones close to him. "Of course not, we all know you guys are madly in love, I mean you did just move in together" molly replied reassuring the boy, hoping to put all his worries to bed. And she did, it was clear that the pair loved each other dearly and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together so why not pop the all important question.

With the end of the season slowly drawing to an end and the euros just around the corner mason knew he would have to plan this for the end of July knowing he and Chloe both had spare time then. Not only this, but the champions league final was in 2 weeks resulting in a nervous mason for 2 reasons. Chloe had agreed to travel to Porto where the final would take place and would hopefully be there to celebrate their success.

"You'll be fine mase" he heard, turning around seeing his girlfriend walking towards him. "I know I'm just nervous" he explained, him and the Chelsea team were due to leave London in 3 hours resulting in him having to leave soon to get to Porto ahead of Saturdays match.

Chloe would fly out on Thursday night with a few of the other girls and spend Saturday morning with masons parents who were flying out Friday. She knew how important this match would be for him and could only hope that luck was on their side.

"You'll play great, I'm sure" she replied while going to hug him one last time. "I hope" he replied hoping his team can perform well Saturday night. "I love you and I'll see you Friday" he quickly added knowing he has to leave much to his dismay, "I love you too".
