Cindy was brushing out her brown colored hair as she scooped it up into her hand as she put it up into a bun with a scrunchie as she looked into the mirror seeing the scars on her face
She stared at herself in pure disgust she looked beside her to see her concealer she picked it up with her freshly painted nails as she started applying it to her face completely covering her scars up as her scars were completely hidden after she finished picking up her Rose colored glasses
Placing them to her nose as she was partially blind
She put some simple clothes on
She wore a long sleeved sweater with a black skirt
Accompanying it with black knee high socks and Mary Janes

She looked into the mirror seeing that she had a frown on her face not wanting to have to hear yet another argument between her step father and her mother on the surface her family is normal but they weren't she looked away from her mirror and she saw her pills on her nightstand without any hesitation takes a pill with some water she had from last night during one of her night terrors and she felt happier as she has been taking these pills ever since she was a little girl with that she grabs her backpack

As She walked out of her purple colored room making her way down the hall to the stairs that led her down to the main room she walked through the main room that led her to the dining room where she saw her adopted family sitting neatly at the dining room table with breakfast neatly placed out her smile wanted to fade as she her stepfather Mason she secretly cringed in disgust at the sight of him he was jackass towards her whole family and her ever since he entered their lives she absolutely hated him

She sat down at the table just wanting to get breakfast over with so she could leave and get on with her day

She was nudged by her eldest sister Lindsay

Lindsay: are you going to eat sis?

Cindy snaps back into reality as snapping out of her thoughts as she in response to Lindsay's question as started eating as
The sunlight was peering in from the big dinning room window shining on the family
Mason started talking about how got promoted at his work and all that boring stuff chatter filled the room other all the conversations that filled the room went through her left and right ear

She never really talked as much with them as much it was a subject that she intrigued her she simply ignores bland people she was hoping no arguing was going to happen today all she wanted today was peace and quiet but she knew that was wishfully thinking she hated the fact that people think they are prefect couple but deep down their marriage was falling apart but she went to eating getting her mind off of everything

~after breakfast was done~

Cindy walked out the door waving goodbye to Lindsay as she made her way to school walking down a dirt path to her town nobody really knew that dirt road because her home completely isolated from everything she would have to get up early should it was the only way for her and her siblings to ever get to school on time they had to take the dirt road it only 15 took minutes to get there if they were Lucky as she was walking she heard something it wasn't really normal because no one used the dirt path at all except for her and her family her breath quickened when she heard a thick branch snap off a tree she ran down the dirt path and never looked back
After running for some time she went into her school sighing and muttering
