Honesty Point of view
I get up and get ready to go shopping with Nae and Leiah until King gets out of school.
3:00 pm
We leave the mall early since Leiah was tired and acting a damn fool
"Sooo" Nae starts as she gives Leiah her cup and shuts her door
"How are you and ken doing? I saw your location was at his house a lot lately"
I roll my eyes at her and starts the car up
"First of all. I'm bout to stop sharing my location with you! Second. It was awful at first. I went over there to see King. And he hates me for leaving him. I took him for ice cream and he was just worried about getting back to Ken. Then when I saw Ken all the feelings that I have been trying to suppress resurfaced. Like I miss him Nae, I miss us. Then he showed me a video of that girl. The pregnant bitch. The video explains how sorry she was and that Ken's mom planned to do all that. And her real baby daddy is a married man. Get this Kim done told the damn girl Ken needed help to get away from me! I want to beat both of their asses. She gon say that Ken got wasted and even though he told her he had a family to get home to. She still took him home and fucked him. Other than that it's like I am over there half the week. I don't want to forget about the past and take things slow, but that's kind of difficult when you have a child that always wants you around. And me being six months now, i don't want to move as much as before. And then her bad ass know when Ken is around at night cause when i am at my apartment i don't get no sleep cause of her "
By the time I was finished I was pissed all over again
I look over at Nae and she is just staring at me in disbelief.
I Sigh and just continue to the Daycare to finally get my babies.
I walk in and enter the daycare. It's very nice. It was one of my top choices when we talked about it last year. Even though I was upset that I didn't know, I am still happy that Ken went with one that I chose
"Hello I am Honesty Davis here to get King Walters and A'Laysia Bennett" the lady looked at me sweetly and went to typing on the computer and got on the phone before the kids ran down the hall
"Mammmaaa" "TITI" They yelled as they ran down the hall
"Heyy yall" I greeted bending down to their sizes
We walked to the car and I buckled them in. The kids sang to J.Cole and Nicki Minaj the whole ride to the Nae's house
After we dropped the girls off me and king went grocery shopping for dinner tonight
"So King how was your day today" I started as getting out of the car, going to get him
I opened the door and before I could help him he hopped out
"Daddy said I don't need help, cause I hurt my sister on accident. So I no need help. I help you and sissy " he grabbed my hand and walked me into the store as if I was the child between the two of us
I get him the car buggy and he hops in
"King, how was school? You didn't tell me" I ask as we go down the isles
"School was okay. It was family day at school, so daddy let me take pictures to school. I showed my mommy and daddy in heaven and then I showed you and daddy."
We always show him pictures and take him to go see their gravesite. It is important to us that he knows then. I mean they gave him life.
"Ohh that's good. Did people have questions or anything?"
"Yea, some kids were confused and said that I can't have two mommies and two daddies. But my teacher made them stop " he said not even fazed by the conversation
I get everything we need and we head home
It was about 7 o clock when I started cooking and getting King ready for bed
"King you not finna be on the game all night. After dinner it's bedtime. you be up too late" I called out to him as I was finishing up dinner.
I fed, showered, and got King ready for bed, and tired was an understatement of how I felt. I cleaned the house and finally laid down for a while until

Yea We at home. Kj is in the bed. Is everything okay Ken?
No. But it will be mamas. Stay in the house and lock the doors. Have Kj sleep with you, I know you don't like sleeping alone. I'll be home in the morning.

I rush downstairs to lock the door and get King in the bed.

I was worried about Ken all night, and I stayed up praying. Between Ken, this baby, and ad Kj I was not able to get a wink of sleep
one night turned into two
and two nights turned to three
a whole week went by with no other contact with Ken or Lukas. Nae and the kids came over the morning after I talked to Ken and we all have been staying at my apartment together. We even pulled king bed in the room at night so we can sleep near each other.
King and LayLay haven't gone to school all week especially since ion know what's going on.
"Ohhh no Hunny don't think yall bout to start playing. Yall done showered and ate go on and lay down" Nae yelled after Kj and LayLay as they ran around the house
Thank god for Reginae cause she is taking care of the kids while I am tired.
We all got settled in the beds and eventually drifted to sleep
3am
"Honesty Wake up" Nae urged "I heard a crash downstairs. Someone is in the hosue"
we both rushed out the bed trying to figure out what to do.
"We need to get in the closet!!" i rushed whispered
we grabbed the kids and rushed into the closet and laid them in the far corner of the walk-in closet
I grab the two boxes down and get ready
"What are you doing?!?!" Nae rushed next to me
"Protecting my kids. And so are you" i stated simply. I had to be strong for Nae snd the kids, but deep down i felt like i was fighting a panic attack
In the first box were a couple of bulletproof vests and the second one was 3 guns. I put mine on, helped Nae, and said a quick prayer
