Chapter 12

I woke up with start. Man, why do I keep having these nightmares!? I am so tired of it. One time, just one time can I go to sleep and have a good dream. It's bad enough I have to live a nightmare, do I really need to be reminded of them in my sleep!? I groaned and checked my phone for the time. Wow, I actually didn't wake up too early, it's about 6:30, might as well get up now.
I got up and grabbed some of fantasias clothes so I could take a shower. After I got out It was about 7:15, I take long showers, and I got a text on my phone. I checked it and it was from Hayes!!

To: Alaina
Hey shortie! You wanna hang out today maybe?? ;)

I wanted to squeal like a little girl but I didn't wanna wake up Fantasia so I just bit my lip and jumped up and down. Of course I want to hang out with him! I quickly texted him back.

Sure! I'd love to! When and where ?

He replied right away.

Ummm why don't we meet in a couple hours at the cafe? Can't wait to see you shortie ;)

I did my little jump and lip bite again and spun around in happiness. I'm glad my mom stayed out all weekend. I know it sounds bad, but I hope she stays out forever , never comes home. That would mean an end to my nightmare, but that can't happen soooo, I guess I'll just savor this weekend. I put my phone in my pocket just as Fantasia started to wake up.
"Morning , I'm hungry, let's make breakfast!" She yawned and got out of bed and started to walk downstairs. I smiled and walked down after her. When we got the kitchen I got a bowl and started to pour some cereal. Fantasia made waffles for her. We went to living room to eat.
"So I'm gonna hang out with Hayes today. " I said starting conversation.
She stopped eating and looked at me.
"Oh my god really!? You guys are so cute. I can't wait until you guys go out !!" That made me frown. He has a girlfriend.
"Don't get your hopes up, he's taken remember?" I said sounding a little depressed. She frowned.
"Yeah I remember..." She said frowning. I laughed half heartedly.
"Ok well I should put something prettier on. "
"Wear anything of mine you want!" She said and turned on the tv.
I thanked her and got up to start walking to her room when there was a knock on the door. I said I would get it and walked into the hallway to open the door. What I saw seriously scared me. I froze in my spot and just stared, too scared to say anything.

"Hiiii dawderrr!" My drunk mother stumbled through the doorway. No! Why is she here! She's never here on the weekends! She always stays out! Why would she come here, at the worst possible time!!??
"Uhh hi mother.... What are you doing here?" I asked quietly. Fantasia was still in the living room and I didn't want her to know she's here.
"I came to takeee yew hommmme" she said humming the m's. Dang it! I don't want to go! I want to go hang out with Hayes ! Why does she have to ruin everything ! If I don't go with her though, she'll beat me right here in the hallway, and there's no way I want to go through that embarrassment. Plus my head still kind of hurts. Ughhhh.
"Uh, ok just stay here, and I'll go get my stuff." I said not wanting to make a scene.
"NO! I'll wait in the Carr and yew go get urrr stoof" she said giggling then walked back to the car. I sighed. Guess my little hang out session with Hayes is off. I'll text him the car and cancel. Ugh again, why does she have to ruin everything!!
