Chapter 11 Why are there so many magic books here?

Greetings everyone. The Arc League is only a few chapters away. But for now, it's time for Yuya's first experience of demonic magic.

Why are there so many magic books here?

Yuya walked into the swanky hotel and walked up to the front desk.

"Excuse me", he said. "Do you happen to know which room Charlie Magne's in?".

"Room 666" said the receptionist. Yuya walked over to the elevator and headed up about 18 floors. Yuya then walked down the hall until he found room 666. He then knocked on the door.

"Come in" said a voice from the other side. Yuya opened the door to see Charlie with a few books laying around her.

"Oh, hi Yuya" said Charlie.

"What's up with all the weird books?" Asked Yuya.

"I've always been interested in demons, monsters and mythology", said Charlie. "Especially those that tie into Jewish Christian mythology".

"You mean like Lucifer and the rings of hell?" Asked Yuya.

"Exactly", said Charlie. "It's all so fascinating to me". Yuya then picked up one of the books and opened it.

"Let's see *murmur**murmur**murmur* this is a book on satanic rituals" said Yuya.

"I know", said Charlie. "Most people confuse Lucifer for Satan. Where in fact, Lucifer is prince of Pride where as Satan is the prince of Wrath".

Yuya then put that book down and got another one. Only this one was unreadable.

"How the hell do you even read this thing?" Asked Yuya.

"Here, let me" said Charlie. She then sat beside Yuya, held his hand and began to read it. As she read it, she was unaware that fire was forming on Yuya's hand. She then sniffed the air.

"Do you smell smoke?" She asked. Yuya smelt that as well, he looked to his hand and saw that it was on fire. He ran around screaming for a bit before he shoved his hand in the toilet.

"How the hell did my hand get on fire?" Asked Yuya.

"To be honest Yuya, I have no idea" answered Charlie.

"Hey, where's Octavia, Helsa and Seviathan?" Asked Yuya.

"Octavia went to Stylish Duelist", said Yuya. "Helsa went with Zuzu to pick up more bras and Seviathan went to get more cards".

"Well, I better get home", said Yuya. "I got a deck to work through". Yuya then left the hotel. As he walked home, he failed to notice the different symbols that appeared on his arm.
