(This is few hours after the book, dragonslayer)
"Can dragons and humans be friends?" Lily asked to Droplet, her mother. She asked the same questions over and over again.
"It is possible my child." Droplet answered. "There is a child who can talk dragon. She has a friend dragon who can speak human, and they are very good friends."
"Do you think I can be friends with dragon?"
"No."
"But you said anything's possible!"
"It is. But I don't think you would want to do that when you get older."
"That's a LIE."
Lily lived in Tailsman. She is turning 12 a few months later. She really, really LOVES dragons. They looked so cool, who wouldn't like them?
She heard a lot about Valor, it has the cool stuff like Wingwatcher. The only thing Lily disliked was the dragonslayer. Who dares kill a dragon? He deserves to die. Well that's what Lily thought.
Mother always sighed if she hears Lily telling her that she wants to be a Wingwatcher. First of all, the dragonmancers won't like it. Second, who knows if anyone can survive to their trip to Valor.
Good news for Lily a few hours later, the dragonmancers aren't the leaders of Tailsman anymore. They retired. (This is a fanfiction alright?)
Good things like this doesn't happen every day, Lily thought that the world wants her to be a Wingwatcher like she always wanted to be.
Mother didn't.
Father went to the indestructible city a few months ago and haven't returned, mother knew she would be lonely without Lily.
So she said no.
HOW DARE HER! This is my life dream and MY ONLY CHANCE TO MAKE IT COME TRUE and she says NO?
Yep, she said no.
Lily screamed in frustration and went to the library. Books are her only friends, only things that understand her. They couldn't talk but they tell her many things she never knew.
She searched trough the bookshelves, looking for something new. Something she haven't read.
There weren't any new books so Lily looked for the map of the world. She wondered if she can go to the ice land...
She was in the middle of day dreaming when a girl with short, curly, brown hair entered the library. Others in the library looked shocked as they saw the girl.
Oh wait, they weren't looking at the girl.
They were looking at a-
-dragon.
HOLY DRAGONS. Lily thought. THERE'S A FREAKING DRAGON BESIDE THE GIRL.
The dragon was small. But big enough to ride on it. He's scales was the colour of peach, kind of.
Lily wondered what type of dragon that was.
"I want to get some books, 5 would be great. But not borrowing it, I want to keep it." The girl said. She was older then Lily. Maybe about 14.
The librarian stared at a notebook the girl was holding. "Exchange the books for the notebook you're holding? I suspect that's a diary? You must have an interesting life if you have a dragon by your side."
The girl hesitated. But she gave the diary to the librarian. Rode on the small dragon and spoke dragon.
THAT GIRL CAN SPEAK DRAGON?
I wish that's me.
As soon as the girl went out of the library, Lily walked over to the librarian. "CAN I PLEASEEEEEEE BORROW THIS?" Lily begged.
She may be annoying sometimes but she was the librarian's favorite kid in Tailsman. "Alright." He said. "As long as you give it back to me in a year."
That was a long time to finish this long diary. Lily thanked him and went home to read the borrowed diary.
It might take long to finish chapter 2. Tell me if you like it. Thanks for reading :)
