amira is awkward. and shy. and quiet.
she always has been, and probably always will be.
aaron is the opposite. he is affable. and confident. and loud. despite being so different, the two of them have been best friends since they were five years old.

they had officially met one summer when aaron was out in his front yard practicing his swing with his dad. he swung and hit the ball a little too hard once, sending it flying into amira's lap as she was sat in her front yard reading. aaron ran over to retrieve his ball and, since then, the two of them were inseparable. that is, until it was time for them to go to college.

after two long years, aaron returns home during winter break, and its almost like meeting a stranger. he's stronger. and broader. and taller. he's different. and, amira realizes that, after two years, she hasn't changed at all.

so, to get the attention of a boy from her school, amira asks her best friend for a favor; to help her become noticeable.

but, during their little venture, they realize that, maybe, their feelings are a bit more vast than they thought.
