Then the bell rings for next period.
Jamar: Aye Mya you finna walk with me and my bro Jeremiah ight?
Mya: Um no I'm walking with my Bestfriend Zuri to my class thank you very much.
Zuri comes up to us and walks by Jeremiah and starts talking to him.
Jamar says with a chuckle
Jamar: this your Bestfriend ?
Mya: ugh... yes.
Jamar: well looks like you walking with us.
Jamar walks us to our next class and tells me to sit next to him.
Jamar: I'm just saying this teacher is a bitch so you might not wanna fuck up in her class.
Mya: Boy what you mean I'm a good student.
Jamar laughs and says
Jamar: Yeah ight.
We get silent for a couple of minutes then jamar says
Jamar: aye what yo number maybe we can be friends.
Mya: um that's federal.
Then our annoying ass teacher yells
Teacher: BE QUIET OR YALL ARE HAVING DETENTION.
Teacher: I would expect better from you Mya. This is a very bad first impression.
After that me and Jamar didn't talk during the whole period. But we made eye contact hella times And it gave me butterflies. There's no way I like this boy already. I don't even know him. All I know is he's annoying. But I think I like annoying.
Then Bell rings again but for lunch.
I go to my locker to go put my books away.
But my locker wouldn't open, I tried pulling it and pulling but it wouldn't budge.
Mya: Great now my locker don't wanna open
Unbelievable.
Jamar sees me and walks up to me.
Jamar: You need help Mya.
Mya: No I got it.
Jamar : Nah here let me help you-
And before he could finish his sentence We paused and made eye contact.
He licked his lips and leaned in for a kiss
Jamar grabs me by my neck and kisses me.
I pull away and say
Mya: Jamar... we shouldn't
Jamar: Why ?
Then he continues to kiss me
And I pull away again
Mya: because I don't know you... I just met you a couple of hours ago.
I'm not gonna lie I wanted to keep kissing him I don't know what it is but the way he kisses me is so different. It feels different. I've kissed other guys but this kiss felt like he genuinely likes me. Or maybe it's all in my head.... I hope he do like me.
Jamar: So love at first sight Bae.
I roll my eyes and hit him playfully
Mya: ugh your so dumb and I'm not your Bae.
Jamar laughs
Jamar: whatever you say.
Then we walk into the lunch room together
