Once again it was night time, 3:37 to be exact. I haven't been able to sleep properly for a few days actually, I also haven't been able to speak with Eli either. Recently, he's been talking to the priestess a lot more then often, she was my friend so I didn't want to get mad at her but I also didn't want to upset her. Fiona was a simple person, she gets jealous pretty easily so if there was anything in between them I didn't want to bother. It's been at least a week and I'm missing his company and owl. I actually dreamt about him yesterday, it was quite...pleasant. I heard a knock on my door and I sprung up extremely confused, who could be knocking at my door at 3. I got up and opened the door to see Emily holding Eli's owl. "Hi y/n! I was wondering if you've seen Eli?? Perhaps?" "No, how come?" "His owls been scratching his door so I opened the door but he wasn't there". Brooke flew to my shoulder and I smiled "I'll look for him, surely he shouldn't be far" "alright thank you". I hummed in acknowledgement and left behind Emily, I know that he likes to be in the library and garden, mostly the garden so I'll check there. I ran downstairs and Brooke actually entered the garden first, I followed behind her and soon heard humming. I peaked from a bush and noticed it was indeed Eli, he didn't have his eye mask on though- why hide such beauty?. Brooke cooed and snuggled into my arm, I got up and walked over to Eli. He noticed me quickly and he immediately smiled and rushed to give me a hug. Brooke squeaked and flew away while Eli squeezed me. I was surprised but smiled and hugged him back "where have you been this week!?". He held my shoulders and smiled at me "oh nothing! You looked busy with Fiona so I didn't dare intrude". Eli once again hugged me but afterward invited me to stay seated with him. "Look at the moon, isn't it wonderful?" I smiled upon seeing the moon and nodded "its beautiful Eli". I noticed his smile only get wider as mine did to "how come your here?" "I saw the moon from my window and I didn't really feel tired so I decided to get out for a while". I watched as Eli admired the white glowing moon, he seemed to be excited and very fond over it. "Do you ever wish to see the moon up close?". He reached his hand out and turned to me "maybe as a child...I remember I wanted to be an astronomer". Eli grabbed my hand and held it so I was also reaching for the moon, I felt a bit heated but happy I could be with him again. "Hey, maybe if we escape here together I'll take you to the moon. I promise". I giggled and nodded "you sound like a little kid, I would love to see the moon with you". He sighed and turned to face me and held both of my hands."I could never do anything without you". I looked at him in shock "what do you mean?" "I love you. These past few months have been amazing with you and I miss your company". He gave me a hug and I smiled and also returned the hug "I miss you too Eli...". I placed his hands on my waist and inched closer to his ear "I love you too".
