desk, paper, ink, and pen
ringing in my ears the falling rain
the gentle music of mozart ;
violins and pianos singing
the melody of every little thing
a love letter to you, a work of art.
sweet sugar, honey and milk
against the table of wood and silk
smiling at the book with pages uneven ;
under the grandfather clock
singing children as they walk
fall asleep with dreams, the sounds of beethoven.
