i'm fascinated in the stars you
paint on my sky
your existence is like the whole universe
there's so much more galaxies and worlds hidden beyond the clouds ;
i lean forward once again into galileo's telescope
marvelling over the sights even aristotle can't name
far away pass the comets, you sing a song clear and loud.

my planet's oceans are pink, purple, and blue
what happened to the heavens tinted red, yellow, blue?
the shift in atmosphere is all too new to me, but i'm finally home ;
revolved around the sun 365 times, my red turned pink
when i found i loved only pink and blue
i found myself all by my own.
