Friendship

Friends grow apart all the time. It's a part of life. Don't take it personally because I'm sure she doesn't mean to be so distant with you it's just that she's going thru some changes and I'm sure you'll go thru plenty as well.

I was once friends with this one girl and her and I were practically sisters (our moms even called us their "other daughter"). We were inseparable for the longest time. Then, I started to spend less and less time with her. I even started to realize I didn't like how I acted around her.

I was mean back then; I realize that now. I was changing. The more I changed the more we separated. Now we have conversations rarely and exchange pleasantries when ever we see each other; that's about it.

Am I sad about this? A little but I know it was for the best cause now I have two best friends whom I love dearly and who can understand the new me better then any of my old friends ever could have.

So I guess my advice to you is to hold on to the friendship but don't force it. Sometimes friendships fade but that's okay because that's life; and life always finds a way of moving on.
