The door creaked open as Pipette stumbled onto the hardwood floor.
"Sis, I don't feel so good-"

Test Tube made a face of disbelief. "You know what, I'm not dealing with this again. MoM!!"
The adult figure skipped into the scene, free of worries. "What is it, da-"
Her posture slumped over as soon as she took a peek at the aftermath of Pipette's regurgitation.
"Could you do me a favor and clean this up? I already had my turn on the road," the older sister shrugged, "besides, I got homework to do."
Her mom facepalmed. "Well, the silence was nice while it lasted..."
Without hesitation, Test Tube rushed upstairs like a dart, leading to her self-isolation. Locking both sides to the Jack-and-Jill, she leaped onto her bed and pulled out the MeMessages app.
Now to pray he read my message.

Beep, went the car keys. The boy proceeded to open the entrance door.
"Hi, Mom."
"Oh, you're back! Did you get that situation sorted, sweetheart?"
He nodded. "Yep. I'll be upstairs if you need me."
There was a moment of silence as he ascended the stairs, then his mom spoke again. "Hey, should the fence damage payment come out of your balance?"
The boy was already out of earshot. He shut his bedroom door, and walked over to his desk.
He pulled out the slip of paper and his phone. "Here goes nothing."

Unknown User: "Hi this is the kid that u ran into earlier, if this is the right number"
Her heart rate began to race. She held her phone up to type-
BANG BANG. "SIS, I GOTTA USE THE RESTROOM!!!"
"USE THE ONE IN THE GUEST ROOM!!" Test Tube screamed back.
She looked back at the screen and proceeded to reply.
"Hey! I'm the girl that fainted in front of you."
A facepalm came as a result of her own awkward text message.
Unknown User: "Yeah I think this is the right number then lol"
Unknown User: "U feeling better now?"
"Yeah, thank you so much for helping me out!"
Unknown User: "Good! That's reassuring"
Unknown User: "Say, how did u even end up in my backyard?"
She took a deep breath.
"I.. left my sister behind at a gas station and sorta panicked."

Unknown User: "Wow. Then u must really care about her, right?"
"Uhh.." she mumbled aloud.
"I guess you can say that."
