It's early in the morning, yet everyone in your homeroom was slightly rowdy as they waited for class to start. Since the desks were set in pairs, most of the class mingled together in small groups. At your desk, you were watching over your ward, a young girl currently searching through her bag for her nonexistent homework.

"You forgot to do it, didn't you, Mikoto?" You asked while leaning back in your seat.

The brunette looks up at you with a pout on her face as she stops her search.

"I fell asleep playing [f/g] last night," she whines, "and I slept through my alarm this morning so I forgot to do it."

Mikoto leans her head on your shoulder and whines out, "[Y/n], what should I do?"

You laugh softly at her pouting face before pushing the red folder on your desk onto her desk.

"Here, but be quick" you smile, "There are only 5 minutes left till class starts."

"[Y/n], you're a lifesaver!" Mikoto exclaims as she gives you a quick hug before taking out a new sheet of paper to copy down the equations and answers.

You laugh again and smile fondly at Mikoto.

Your ward is too precious.

A soft scoff pulls you away from thoughts as chill briefly rushes down your back, causing you to grimace.

They were staring again.

Briefly, you glance at the ones staring so invasively only to come in eye contact with Kakyoin. The redhead's smile seems to widen the second your gaze falls on him, his strangely bright lavender eyes glowing with an emotion you couldn't decipher.
