Luz's POV:

155, 156, 157, 158!

"There we go! Dorm 158!" I silently spoke to myself. "King, your dorm should be room 175, so we're only a corner away from each other."

King squealed to himself, slightly jumping up and down.

"We'll be able to see each other often! And we didn't need that Agus blah blah's help!" He smiled triumphantly, his arms shaking from holding his box for so long.

"Yeah sure. It only took us." I paused, squinting at a clock down the hall. "30 minutes-"

Well thank god orientation is tomorrow. We would have been doomed by now.

But hey, I refuse to get help from a two timing wanna be rich boy who had everything handed to them at the flick of a hat.

He may have stole our keys, but in honesty, what haven't I stolen yet?

I stole some dumb kids Jeep after he forgot his keys in the car, drove it around, then I burnt his leather seat with a cigarette bud on accident so I drove it into a lake where the found it infested with fish three weeks later.

I wasn't caught, so no harm no foul.

Pretty sure they blamed it on some kid with the nickname 'Tiny Nose'.

That kid was weird as fuck. She was always going on about conspiracy theory's, and idk I didn't really listen.

"Luz! Quick! Give me my box! I wanna go see my new dorm! Dorm mate, not so much. But I want to see what my new KINGdom looks like!"

I raised an eyebrow, slightly glancing at his wavering arms.

"Are you sure you can hold all that weight? You may have your key but I can walk to the room with you if you wa-"

"NO! I'm sure! I must hurry to go see my new peasant!"

I let out a loud sigh, dropping the second box in his arms, right on top of the first one.

"Don't knock yourself out please."

King let out a cheer of approval, quickly scampering off to the next hall where his dorm was.

Soon after he left, the sound of a big Thump was heard. Probably King placing his boxes outside the door to use as a step stool to get to the key hole.

That would be my greatest assumption.

For somebody as short as him, I'm actually really surprised that he made it in the rough part of the city, yet I'm also proud. He's lucky me and the rest of the guys care about him enough to cover his ass.

Oh how many fights I got in to save that small hyper child.

And oh how many were only about a paper crown from burger queen.

I pushed my thoughts away, grabbing to a strap of my backpack with my left hand, and the key with my right.

Whoever my dorm mate is, they better not be some snobby, preppy, stuck up, bitch.

I stuck my key into the lock, turning it, hearing the satisfying click noise.

Turning the handle, I pushed the door open, finally in my new room.

It was honestly quite impressive for it just being a school. Much better living habits then I've ever seen or been in, so I'm not complaining.

There was a small entry way with tile floors and a small closet on the left side. Then down the hall there was a big living room with wood floors, a sofa, and a carpet. In front of the sofa was a small coffee table with a few books on it. Behind the living room was an open faced kitchen with white tile floors. In the small hallway area beside the kitchen was a door, clearly leading to a bathroom, according to the small letters on the wall with an arrow that said 'bathroom'. And at the very front of the living room in the small hallway, there were two doors leading to the rooms according to the small lettering that said 'single rooms'.
