it's only had been about 2 days you were adopted and now in the care of mirko after your parents well had left you as they were killed mysteriously in which you were put up to an adoption center to find somone who could at least keep a watchful eye on you as you would grow up. feelings and emotions of anxiousness and nervousness was all you had come to feel when meeting your step mother only having the sense and thoughts of the more negative side of things instead of the positives all those question would build up as you continuously ask yourself, what if they hate me?, or ,what happens if they don't love me?, that's all that had consisted
Waking up to the shine that peaked through the fabric that covered your window you lifted yourself up from your bed as you decided to get ready for the day trying to separate yourself from her for a while. it was obviously noticeable to mirko of corse it was way to easy for her to tell that you were scared of her but she didn't have a good idea on why
Trying to make a conversation with you she gave you a wide grin as she prepared both of your breakfast, "hey little Y/n how are you?" you slightly averted your gaze to her as you only slowly mumbled, 'fine' which was audible enough to hear clearly Only giving a sigh, she gave you a small look of concern as she finally set the plate of f/f infront of you and on her side of the table it was mostly quiet when you both ate so of course there was no way that any of you can make a conversation
time passed quick as the hero who was basically your new mother now would finally speak up to you "you scared of me aren't you?" She blurts out as you were mildly shocked to see how they were able to see right through you, "h-how do you know!?" Staring into you e/c orbs she places a large hand on your shoulder of your trembling demeanor as she explained, "well you have been acting more distant towards me ever since you arrived and i was just wondering why..."
"I just thought you would find me annoying or that you pretty much pr you wouldn't really love me since uh how should i say this well i thought badly of me," fidgeting with your fingers trying to keep your mind of things she only ruffled your h/c locks as she smiled widely "Oh come on don't think so badly i love you after all its my duty to take care of you isn't it?" Both of you begin to laugh finally understanding that well maybe it wasn't so bad after all
