So a few weeks later, I went back to school to see that we had a new girl in our class.
Her name was really complicated, so we just called her Tessie for short.
She seemed nice. I talked to her and got to know her a little bit.
Then the day ended and I stayed after school to watch the boys basketball game.
The little kids played before the older kids, so I was hanging out with Maraya and Spike.
We were in the lobby of the gym and Spike layed down on the ground.
Everyone started grabbing his ankles and dragging him around on the ground.
When the stopped, he was just laying there so I stood up and walked over, kneeling down next to him.
Maraya took a picture of me next to him without me knowing.
I love it.
Then, Maraya was asking me and Spike why we don't kiss.
I don't know why.
Honestly, I wish we did...

The next day, I was sitting in class when I saw the new girl checking out Spike but I ignored it.
He wouldn't like her. I told myself.
Then after school, I went to Melinda's house and ate lots of food before going back to the school to watch the game.
Maraya had told me that Spike was gonna kiss me.
He didn't.
Oh well.
