There is no creature as magnificent as an unbridled horse.

Galloping in a field

Its powerful legs stoking the tall grass

The rhythmic beat of its hooves hitting the earth

Its mane swaying in the wind

Sweat glistening on its soft coat.

When you touch their supple coat

There is a connection between the horse

And the rider, that cannot be shaken by the wind

As the vast expanses of the field

Pass beneath you, the earth

Seems to disappear beneath the grass

Listen to the soothing sound of the grass

Caressing your horses coat

As you travel together to the ends of the earth

The dark, mysterious eyes of your horse

The sparrows chirps echoing though the field

The smell of flowers carried with the wind

Feel the breath of the crisp wind

Smell the aroma of the grass

The sunset having disappeared from the field

Touch its coat

The energy of the horse

Grounds you to the earth

The trees on the horizon penetrating the earth

Your horse piercing the strong winds

Mud splattering across your horses

Barrel. The crickets hidden in the grass

Echo their call. Your horses black coat

Reflecting the spirit of all horses

Invisible against the dark expanses of the field

The sounds of mice scurrying through the field

The imprints of your horses hooves in the earth

The ends of your coat

Furling up in the wind

As the grass

Sways with the rhythm of your horses step

That horse one with the earth

As the sky sets and you notice a tired horse

You return once again to earth
