after mr. stark told us that peter gripped my hand so hard i thought it was going to break i held in my laughter at him trying to compress his joy  mr. stark must have noticed this to as he said "why so happy sunshine'' in a joking manner which caused peter to turn a tomato red

once the elevator door opened peter and mr. stark stepped out into the lab while i scanned the lab before going in ''you coming kid'' mr. stark asked confused ''yeah'' i say still looking around while stepping out the elevator ''ok'' he says still looking at me ''now take a look at this equation for me and try to give me an answer ok?'' he asked us ''yes sir'' we say at the same time once again with that he nods and walks over to the white boared and holds out a marker ''can one of you solve this'' he asks we look at the boared and think for a minute ''shouldn't you have found the square root of the common denominator before the numerator'' i ask and he looks at the board before back at me ''thats right'' he says stunned before writing in the question ''any answer i nod towards peter and he takes the marker of mr. stark ''the answer should be 39 right'' he says ''yeah how did you get that we have been working on that for months lyric you try this one'' he flips the board around and shows another sum i take the marker off peter and look at the sum and write the answer of 174 before handing the marker back to mr. stark who looks at me like i was walking on my hands ''how did you find the answer can you explain your method'' a voice from behind us asked we turned and saw the bruce banner standing a nere foot away from us ''wow your bruce banner'' peter says ''yes i am do you like hulk or something'' he says a little uncomfortable at the mention of the hulk ''yes we do but we also find your research on gamma radiations and nuclear physics fascinating'' i say and his face becomes more comfortable ''you follow my studies'' he asks a little taken aback ''of course its very interesting'' peter says back to him ''well thank you but back to the question can you explain your answer please'' he says to me ''oh ya sorry so i'' and i wrote down what i did and looked back to see the two grown men who looked like the wheels in their heads were turning to figure out what was on the board then it clicked and they were speachless ''tony can i steal these two from you'' bruce asked still surprised ''yeah but make sure to give them back'' bruce nods and signals for us to follow him

he brings us back to the elevator and we get in ''to the main room please friday'' mr. banner says to the ceiling ''you got names'' he asks after a minute of akward silence ''ya im peter parker and this is lyric'' peter tells him ''any last name lyric'' he asked slightly confused as to why peter said his full name and not mine ''nope'' i say while shifting on my feet he seems confused but decides not to  say anything about it

we get to the floor dr. banner requested and im not paying attention to where im going because im to busy laughing at peter that i didnt notice we walked into the room full of avengers

all of us except bruce and tony were gathered in the main room talking when bruce walked in with two kids the boy was freaking out while the girl was laughing at him it was only when the boy froze and bruce stopped walking that the girl looked up at us all ''bruce whos the kid'' steve asked bruce only seeing the boy as the girl is so short and is hidden behind bruce ''these are tonys interns  peter and lyric'' he steps aside and shows the girl just as he steps aside everyone looks to me than back to the girl than to me

clint and i look to one another because we know these are the kids from the group chat our kids lyric is more like me than i thought she has an unreadable expression on her face while peters eyes are popping out his head ''these are tonys new inters''

lyric sits next to me but is hesitant to do so i put my arm around her and she tenses quite a bit but i dont take my hand away around 5 minutes later she relaxes and i smile down at her and she returns the gesture as i push her head into my shoulder ''ok so tell us what is your full names'' thor asks them ''mines peter parker'' peter responds in a cheerful tone ''and im lyric'' lyric responds in her monotone voice ''ok but whats your full name'' pietro asks ''that is my full name lyric'' she responds again everyone just nods and we continue to ask questions back and forth for a long while ''what time is it'' peter asks out of the blue ''its 7.34'' clint replies to him and both the kids shoot up and start speed walking to the elevator ''it was nice meeting you all'' lyric says ''see you tomorrow'' peter responds  just before the elevator door closes we all exchange confused glances but shrug it off and go do our own thing i go to the window and see the two kids bolt down the driveway in a full sprint

after peter asked the time i realised i only had 21 minutes to get to the orphanage with no punishment so i started running with peter behinde me we get to our separateing street and shout a goodbye to one another and he stops running as he has a half hour to get home still i on the other hand pick up speed and keep running till i arrive at the building right on time i go in and am met by ms.
