The Avengers were rendered speechless. Apparently Loki didn't like flights where he was forcibly strapped into a shaking S.H.I.E.L.D issued jet during a harsh Thor-thunderstorm. He liked getting free flights with this odd redhead chick (Nat?!) and trolling people.
"Is that Natasha?!" Clint said, squinting up at the screen, not believing his eyes.
Sif growled. "That is not 'Natasha.' That is Lorelei, that murderous scamp!"
"Who's Lorelei?" Pietro asked. "Is she Asgardian?"
Loki sighed. "Lorelei is a friend of mine and a past bedmate. She is also the sister of Amora the Enchantress. Both are powerful sorceress' set against taking over Asgard. They are also, ex-lovers of Thor. To put it, my partner in crime/ally/enemy of Asgard."
Tony did a full 360 with his head, "You slept with her?!"
"Why not? I've slept with plenty of people. It's nothing special, really."
"So Lorelei and this Amora person are both your exes?!" Jane said, befuzzled.
"Love spell," Loki and Thor said in sync. "And not so love spell," Loki finished.
'How about we get some context instead of getting into sex lives?!"
"Please," Frigga said. Amora and Lorelei, allies or enemies, was always a topic that exhausted her. Ever since they were little girls they always had some sort of chaos or love potion or spell they had to test out with her sons - or Skurge, a now-einherjar she knew from Thor's old school lessons. 'Very well then.'
'Alright then. Context: Loki and Lorelei are hitching a free ride on an airplane because of where Asgardia floats - which is over Broxton, Oklahoma. The reason as to why they are going to Asgard, with Lorelei being a known enemy to Asgard, is because Loki is trying to speak to his imprisoned older self, with Lorelei helping him out.'
"Why- how- how does that even work?" Steve gaggled. "Did he like-"
'Loki manipulated Hela into removing his name from her book of death name- basically Hela has a book that keeps track of all the people in the realm and if you're name gets crossed off, you die, or if you die, it get crossed off.'
"And so that means that every death, you become reincarnated," Hela said, frustrated.
Odin seemed frustrated as well. "You allowed this to happen?!" he shouted.
Hela rolled her eyes, sighing. "Not here! I have multiple books and I know for certain that I would NEVER be manipulated into doing such a thing. Your proof, your royal flush-fuck," Hela's right hand glowed a dim green. Suddenly, a book made of odd flesh and leather appeared in her hands.
Flipping through the pages, Hela stopped abruptly on the line of Jotunheim's royalty.
"See? Farbauti-king is still alive, Laufey-king is alive, Helblindi-heir, alive, Bylsteir-prince, and Loptr-prince. No name crossed off. Even," she flipped back to the Asgardian pages. "On the current Asgardian royal family. No name crossed off or removed."
