Chapter 10

~The next day~

"Hey Y/n, wake up," Kitaro said shaking the sleeping girl awake

The girl groaned and turned away from the boy

"Get up, granny Kanami made you breakfast and she doesn't want it to go to waste," Kitaro said as he shook her a bit harshly this time

"Ughh, leave me alone, it's too early to get up," The girl said and hid under her blanket

"Y/n, it's 11:45 in the morning," Kitaro told the girl the time

"Exactly, too god damn early!" The girl shouted from under her blanket

"... GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP NOW!" The boy shouted and took the blanket off the girl

The girl got up quickly only to hit her harshly on the wooden top bunk

"Owwwww!" She yelled out in pain

Kitaro then burst out laughing 

"Stop  laughing Kitaro, I really hit my head hard," The girl said as she slid off the bed and walked into the bathroom

She looked into the mirror and that the top of her forehead is tomato red, Kitaro walked into the bathroom nearly out of breath, as he looked at the girl in the mirror and saw how red her forehead was he started wheezing.

"Kitaro, stop it, it isn't funny," Y/n said angrily at her friend

"Can you at least go get some ice from the freezer?" Y/n asked Kitaro only to receive laughter from the boy

"Ugh! fine then, you laugh," Y/n said as she pushed past her friend and headed to the kitchen

Getting the ice from the freezer, she applied pressure to her bump and went to sit in the living, a few minutes later came down Kitaro.

"Y/n, I'm sorry, but you have to admit that was funny,"  Kitaro held back a laugh

"No, it was not! that shit really bloody hurt, and you're here laughing about it" Y/n complained

"Okay, I'm sorry, here" Kitaro took the ice from Y/n and applied light pressure on it for her

The girl moved away from the boy, the boy got closer to the girl so he can ice her bump, but the girl moved away from him again

"Y/n, come on, I'm sorry now stop being petty," The boy said 

The girl's mouth dropped open as she looked at him shock at what he just said

"...no wait, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry," The boy said quickly as he realized what he just said

Y/n ignored the boy and went to the kitchen to eat her breakfast

"Y/n, I'm so sorry, please I didn't mean to call you petty," Kitaro said as he hugged the girl from behind

Y/n shoved the boy off of her and continued to eat her breakfast

"Y/n... please don't ignore me again," Kitaro said softly 

Yn looked at him and slowly smiled. Kitaro saw her reaction and a bright smile plastered on his face but to  his surprise, Y/n wiped away her smile and glared at him then continued to eat

"Y/n, please!! I'm sorry!" The boy cried

Y/n had finished eating and got up to placed her plate in the sink, after doing so she notices a paper that laid on the island where she was eating. she picked it up and read it

'Gone to work, hope you enjoyed your breakfast, I'll be back soon you and Kitaro  can explore the house and garden, and can you make lunch today, I heard you're a good chef now, maybe we can have those competitions your mom and I used to have and Kitaro can be the judge, Love you darling'

"Y/n?-" Kitaro tried to talk to his friend but she just walked off

The boy sighed and went and sit in the living room, The girl then went into the living room and picked up the remote and searched through different channels to find something entertaining to watch.

The boy watched as the girl in front of her search through the channels completely ignoring his existence. The boy grew tired of the girl ignoring her so he spun her around and pulled her on his lap.

"Y/n, can you please stop ignoring me," Kitaro said 

All Y/n did in response was fight the come out of Kitaro's grip, seeing this, Kitaro wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist and brought her closer, then adjusted her legs, so she was now straddling him.

"Y/n, come on, stop fighting cause you know it's useless, and just listen to me for 5 seconds," Kitaro said

Y/n calmed down and stopped fighting and just looked at him

"Thank you, now, Y/n I'm very sorry for laughing at you when you hurt yourself, but you don't have to ignore me I hate when you do that to me, so please accept my apology and stop ignoring me please," Kitaro said to her

Y/n just looked away and ignored everything he just said

"So you're just going to ignore everything, I say and do?" Kitaro questioned only to receive no reply

Kitaro then squeezed her in tighter with his arm, but no response 
Kitaro tugged on her hair a little but no reaction

"Fine" Kitaro said then loosen the grip around her waist but kept it tight enough so she wouldn't get away

Y/n was looking everywhere except for his eyes and Kitaro didn't like that, so he used his free hand and brought Y/n's face to look at his.

He then kissed Y/n on her lips softly

"Kitaro," I said softly as I caressed my lips

"So now you acknowledge huh," Kitaro smiled softly

I just looked at him in shock, I didn't know what to say

He chuckled
"I wanted to do that for a while now," Kitaro said smirking at me

"Y/n, I love you, from the day I saw you I knew you something special, and spending time with you made me realized how much I liked you, you are a stunning human being and just standing beside you makes my heart beat with joy, I love you so much and I know that you like someone else but I don't care I love you and that's all that matters to me" Kitaro confessed his love for me

I was lost for words, my heartbeat quickened

"Y/n, you don't have to say any-"  Y/n cut off Kitaro by kissing him deeply

Kitaro returned the kiss, their lips moved in sync as they share a deep passionate kiss

They soon stopped kissing and looked at each other

"Kitaro, you were the one who was there for me when I nearly died, you were the one that always made me smile, you were the one that cared about me whenever I looked a little upset, Kitaro, I love you too, and I'm not just saying that so you don't feel bad, I truly do love you and I'm happy that you exist and I don't know what would have come of me if you didn't," I said as stared deeply into his eyes

"Y/n! I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you" Kitaro said as he hugged me tightly and nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck

"How did you know I liked someone else?" I asked softly

"Well, it isn't that obvious but I manage to notice, but he doesn't matter cause you love me now right?"  He asked me  as he gave me a "please tell me I'm right" look

"Yes, I love you so he doesn't matter, I never had a chance with him anyway" I smiled at Kitaro

He smiled at me as he squealed out happily, he then started to give me multiple kisses on my neck all the way up to my lips, where he kept on kissing as he repeats the words "I love you"

Y/n's grandma then walked in on them with a guest by her side, she stood there for a second and waited for the two to notice her but they didn't so she let out a fake cough.

The two love birds then look at where the noise came from, as they saw that it was the grandmother they quickly stopped and moved away from each other
