Chapter-7 Merge

Tari PoV

When I had woken up, I was being hugged by someone and it's not Ophis as my face is in their breasts and it can't be Sona as it's something that I don't think she would really do and its either one of the church people or Serafall maybe someone from the Gremory Peerage, but I doubt it.

Slowly I open my eyes to see chestnut coloured hair so it's the Mimic sword one, but this hug is annoying because its too tight and I can't breathe properly, and my arms were trapped in between us, and my strength won't work as I don't want to hurt them plus, I don't want them to get the wrong opinion so I guess I can use my tail.

So, I let out my tail and ears because I can't only get one out and then I use my tail to tickle Irina and she started to turn a bit so I went a bit harder on her nose and she started to wake up but as I was about to hide my Nekoshou parts she had already woken up and she could easily see them, and she had.

Irina who was staring at my ears and tail suddenly whispered in my ear asking if I was really a Nekomata, so I nodded but I didn't tell her about the Nekoshou part but I asked her to not hug me as tight which she loosened the hug thankfully but she didn't le me go as she suddenly started to pet my ears again but Irina will probably keep going until I purr so might as well let it out

With no resistance within me I let out my purrs which had caused Irina to coo at my cuteness, but her partner Xenovia had woken up and I'm sure she is staring at us or specifically me, but I just ignored her. While enjoying the petting I suddenly felt a cold piece of metal touch the back of my neck causing me to shiver from the sudden touch but the shape of it was like a cross?

Irina then stopped the petting and had asked Xenovia what she was doing but her response was that she was making sure I wasn't a devil and that I didn't lie but after about a minute of her pushing the cross on my nape she stopped and looked at the mark it left after being pushed down hard.

Xenovia then said I definitely wasn't a devil as I would have a burn mark on where she did it and she then asked why I was with devils if they had killed most of my race, but I just said.

Tari- simple protection from other devils and since I'm the fiancé of Sona no devil will try anything, but I did become her fiancé by accident and what now?

Irina- you could help us find the Excalibur's and we can try to get you protection with the church how about that?

Tari- I don't know but can a give your Excalibur Mimic a try it looks really cool!

I did a childish act to try and convince them better and somehow it worked but she made a condition.

So we left the room to go into the main hall where the church pews where cleared out and Irina transformed the sword into a katana with a handle for my size and she said that imagination is they key to make it transform so when I held it I had felt the power within it call to me so I reached out and I could feel it so I tried to make it into a spear which it quickly did and it looked amazing with design of a long, broad spear with two out-turned lugs at the base of the head, that forms a guard similar to that of a boar spear and it felt like it was meant to be in my hands

With the Excalibur Mimic I tried to fight with it by attacking the air so I could get a feel with it but each attack felt like It had more power in it than I was putting in so after a few more attacks I stopped and tried to transform it into something which made it more hidden and I turned it into a cute light blue cat themed bracelet and it fitted my wrist perfectly so I turned around to face the two exorcists who were in complete shock so I floated over to them and poked Irina on the cheek getting her out of shock and I asked what was wrong and she said
