Start of something new

I never understood the point of a soulmate. Someone your bonded to for your whole life. Doesnt seem fair. Im shoyo hinata and right now im at my first middle school volleyball game.

It took me all three years of middle school to get here but i did. We get on the court and are paired with one of the toughest teams. Im in the front when i see this dark looking guy that everyone is calling the king. They get on the court and this so called king is in front of me. I didnt realize it now but this is my soulmate. You see when you and your soulmate first make eye contact you will suddenly see color. That how you know that youve met them. Most of the time people dont find that one person to love. But most people know that when you do your not supposed to let them go.
This guy in-front of me never made eye contact. We were on opposite teams of course he didnt look at me. As the game started i already knew that we wouldnt win but that doesn't mean i wasnt going to try.

After two set that we lost i was exhausted 9-25 on the first set and 14-25 on the second. Of course i had hope like i always do but that didnt help me in the slightest.

After i cleaned up and made sure my team was on the bus i walked up to the setter from the other team and poked his shoulder to get his attention. He turned around to look at me and all the sudden as soon as his eyes met mine 'COLOR!' It was beautiful i just had to take a minute to take it in. I looked back at him. "You..... no you can't possibly be my." With that he cut me off by putting his hand on my mouth. I was confused why would he do that. "If you tell anyone about this you'll regret it i can promise you that." With that he gave me a glare and walked off with his other team mate. I can't believe it i just found my soulmate and he was a dick.
