Chapter 7: taking a beaten

After this whole thing- it was a bit embarrassing, I step out of the restroom, feeling better. God- that really was something. Alex is nowhere to be seen- I guess she also had places to go to. But that's not my business. I start making my way back to the place I wanted to go in the first place, really hungry. I was deep inside my thoughts- thinking about random stuff- AND NOT ABOUT SOMEONE- as I ran into a person. I snap out of my thoughts, falling to the ground. Ow- that actually hurt a little. I look up to see a group of people, maybe state(?) I don't recognise. They look down to me. I quickly want to get up and continue my walk, but as I tried getting up I got pushed on the ground again. What-

"Well well well- look who we have here. Someone who dares to cross our path. You know what happens to everyone who does that right?" On the persons said. I slowly shake my head, not being able to get a word out of me, intimidated. Suddenly the 'main'person of the group picked me up and off my feet, shoving me against the wall. I hiss in pain. I stare with widen eyes at him. This isn't good. THIS IS NOT GOOD! I inhale deeply.
"Sorry- I-I just wasn't looking where I was g-going- A friend is w-waiting for me-" I start explaining, stuttering. This is scary. And it hurts.
"I do not care- fuck your friend! We are your problem now." I got shut up, making me flinch a little. Then the person dropped me back on my feet, punching me in the stomach.
Hard.
I gagged a little, my legs almost giving in. Two other persons of the group procceded to step towards me, grabbing both my arms, holding me on my legs. With rising fear I realize that I can't stop them. I'm not strong enough! The 'main' person continued to beat me. The others laughed. It hurts- IT HURTS SO MUCH! But I couldn't bring myself to say a word, scared to be punched and/or kicked even harder, tearing up from the pain.

After a while, which felt like forever- they had enough of beating me and threw me on the ground, proceeding to walk away. Finally it's over..
I really didn't have the energy to get up. So I just laid there, heavily breathing, beaten up.

Netherlands POV

I look at the big clock hanging in the cafeteria. Where is Indo? I already finished lunch what feels like hours ago- and yet he didn't show up. It feels lonely. I feel lonely. Everybody here is sitting with someone else...
Something is wrong with this whole thing. I already knew that Indo isnt good with directions- so I send Swaps after him. But she is here for a while now, also finishing her food, being watched by Bubi. And Swaps eats really slow. Even tho we don't verbally communicate, I can feel Bubi, Indos blob, being worried as well. I sigh heavily, deciding to look where Indonesia is- just in case something happened. So after packing my things together and picking up the blobs, I start searching for my dorm mate. As we entered a hallway no one was in, Swaps hopped from my shoulder, changing shape, landing as human. Bubi eyes had widen at this action of her, amusing me a little.
"We can search better if I'm like this." Swaps clarified.
"Oh and also- Indo knows me under the name 'Alex'." Swaps continued. Welp- ok I guess- she wanted to keep that a secret-

We continue to search, as Bubi got uneasy on my shoulder. I turn my head to him as best as possible.
"What's wrong?" I ask. Moments later Swaps eyes widen.
"No Way- Where?!" She asked loudly. Maybe to loud. I simply stand there- confused. Oh right- Swaps can still understand him. Thats great for her I guess. Suddenly Swaps grabs my arm, tearing me in a sertant direction. After a short time I run by myself after her, luckly not being teared.
"Where are we going?" I ask while running.
"Bubi managed to sense Indo a few hallways away from us." Swaps answers monoton. I- wow-
"He can do that??"
"All blobs can do that. Except me for some reason- sorry to tell you that-"
"You are able to talk to me - thats enough for me."
"Thanks- but Bubi is practically yelling at us to shut- and I quote- the hell up and finally find Indo-"
"Okay okay sorry-" with that we continue running. As I dash around a corner I stop moving, almost frozen.
There he is: Indonesia. But oh god he looks terrible. Indo is leaning, well almost lying against the wall, panting and shaking, beaten up, bloody

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?? ITS BEEN like 25 MINUTES!

Indonesias POV (—God- here we go again—)

I still had my eyes closed. The pain just wouldn't go away- But I think I could stand again by this point- but I don't have any intention to. I have no idea where the nurse office is, and lying here is better than running around a giant school in this condition. Then I heard loud footsteps. Two persons I think. I slowly open my eyes a little...
to see Netherlands..?

My brain decided to work more intense and soon I started moving, sitting up fully. I hiss in pain again. Oh wow- those bullies from before really didn't have anything better to do. They hit me often- just because I accidentally ran into them? What a hilarious reason. Anyways. I blink a few times, getting my vision more clear. Now I also see Bubi and.. Alex? Why Alex? Where is Swaps? I'm.. gonna ask questions later. The next thing that happened was Netherlands picking me up. It made me calm a little, at least I wasn't shaking as much as before. It feels warm and safe. And despite everything- I felt my cheeks warming up a bit- embarassing. That's annoying- why is this happening now? I didn't want anyone to see- so I move around in his arms, hiding my face in Neths chest. I can feel his heart beating really fast.

The thing is that I feel us moving. As we did... noises filled my brain. Then everything was black again.
