Justus-

I awkwardly looked around the crowded restaurant as Messiah starred me down from the opposite side of the dinner table. I ended up agreeing to the date because...it's free food.

I accidentally looked at Messiah, making eye contact with him before quickly looking away. He let out a breathless laugh. Making me automatically mean mug him.

"The fuck you laughing for?" I finally looked at him. "Why you acting all shy now?" He said putting his hands under his chin.

Shy?

"Messiah stop talking to me." He rolled his eyes.

"That's what your supposed to do on a date, J."  I played dumb.

"A date? You said we were just grabbing something to eat. Not you switching up your words." I said knowing damn well he did ask me on a date.

"Justus you and I both know I asked you on a date and your exact words were 'I ain't gay, but I guess I'll go'" he said mimicking my voice.

"That's not what I sound like."

He simply shrugged his shoulders. Before I could say something else the waitress walked up immediately locking eyes with Messiah. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms and leaning back in my chair.

"Hi, I'm Riley. I will be your waitress for today, can I start you off with some drinks?" I rolled my eyes at her bubbly attitude.

"May I have a pink lemonade? Please." Messiah said now bringing his eyes on me.

"And you sir?"

"Sprite," I mumbled.

"Are you also ready to order or do you need a second?" She said mostly to Messiah. I really want to shoot this girl.

"A second please." Messiah said smiling.

Fuck is he smiling at?

She walked away after giving Messiah one last look.

"What's wrong now, J?"

"Nothing,"

"Why you acting like that then?"

"Nigga, I said nothing is wrong," I replied stubbornly.

He dropped it looking back at his menu. I kept my eyes on him starring at him until he looked back up. He leaned over the table grabbing my chin making me meet him half way. He lightly pecked my lips twice.

"Stop pouting,"

I felt my cheeks heating up.

Bitch.

"I'm not pouting,"  I looked around to see if anybody saw and so far it didn't seem like anybody did until my eyes came across the waitress with a shock face.

I looked back over to Messiah to see his attention still on the menu before looking back at the waitress. I smirked sticking my middle finger up at her. She immediately looked away.

"What are you looking at?"

I quickly brought my attention back to Messiah mumbling a quick "nothing,"

He kept looking at me like he had something to say. "Speak, nigga. The fuck you keep looking at me for?"

"Let's make a deal,"

"like a money deal?" I perked up. He sucked his teeth.

"No," I huffed no longer interested.

"If you don't enjoy this date I'll leave you alone, but if you do enjoy it, you have to try giving me a chance."
