i saw doyoung and hayun walking together. i was about to catch up with them when i suddenly heard him asking hayun about yedam's question awhile ago. i got curious, so i slowed down my pace.

"ah. no i can't really see us being like that."

i stopped walking.

why do i feel so disappointed by her answer?

"you like her don't you?" someone said behind me. i turned and saw haruto.

i scoffed and said, "as if."

"let's be honest here woo. you only asked for hyeri's number because you wanted to talk to hayun, and you wanted to talk to hyeri because you want to ask for an advice on how to get close with hayun. i'm not dumb and i know you too well."

i looked at him directly in the eyes and i could tell he already found out.

"how did you know?" i asked him.

"i know you're a great actor, but as i've said i know you too well." he sipped on his can of coke.

he's right. i only asked for hyeri's number because i want to ask for advice on how to be close with hayun. she's always been interesting to me, and i just didn't know how to approach her. i can ask doyoung and haruto who knows her very well, but i just can't talk to them about my crush.  i get nervous when i try to talk about her all the time.

i did text the wrong number though. i didn't know it was hayun at first, but as i observed her and hayun with the help of social media and our messages, i found out that i was texting hayun all this time.

i had to act that i have a crush on hyeri. going to that convenience store and scroll through hyeri's feed was intentional. i had to act that i like her, so i watched her videos with hayun in it.

i don't know why i had to do such thing though. i can easily talk to her about what i feel, but thinking about her possible reactions make me anxious. plus, doyoung seems like he has a crush on hayun. so i decided to be just friends with her, but i can't tell you that i don't like her anymore.

"man you really should try to become an actor," haruto said.

"hayun and our hyungs fell for it really hard," he added while shaking his head side to side.

"really? i thought i was so obvious," i said.

"nope, but being your closest friend for 2 years. yes it was obvious for me. you should try confessing though. you'll never know what her response would be." he smiled.

i shook my head and looked at the wallpaper of my phone. "damn, she's even your wallpaper." i rolled my eyes at him.

"time to change it though."

"whatever you say, jeongwoo."
