hayun still did not stop texting jeongwoo. i'm so tired of telling her to stop obsessing over jeongwoo when she's not even being real.

she said it was healing to talk to jeongwoo because he's so funny and sweet. she said it makes her very happy to talk to him even though she's just pretending.

sad to know that here i am, always sticking by her side. a boy who will never leave her is always ignored. oh well. i always knew i never stood a chance to hayun.

it was obvious she likes someone else, but i never found out who it was until lately.

"doyoung." i looked up, and saw the secretary of student council, choi nari.

"stop spacing out," she said as she fixed her glasses.

i rested my head on the table, and stared on my phone. no texts or calls from hayun. she usually checks up on me when i have to stay longer at school because of student council meetings. i haven't talked to her for weeks now. i don't have any other friends to talk to.

i sighed, and nari glared at me all of a sudden.

"why?" i asked.

"what's your problem?"

"i don't have a friend anymore," i cried out.

"oh wow. i thought you were gonna say that you're sick," she sarcastically said.

"you're evil." i pouted.

"hayun is still you're friend, but she's never going to be your girlfriend. process that into your mind," she said and i let out a sigh.

"yeah you're right."

she sat beside me, and brushed my hair slowly. "you'll find someone too."

"you never know. maybe she's just right around the corner."
