He sighed as well, but followed her suggestion. They both finished getting ready, and Jordyn could silently see the worry begging to grow on Klaus's face; she wondered which daughter he was concerned about, seeing as both of them were a hairline away from self-destructing.

"Hey," she whispered softly, grabbing his hand. When his eyes met hers, she sent him a comforting smile. "We'll figure everything out together, as a team, okay?"

He nodded, pulling her closer and brushing a piece of her hair away from her face. "Thank you," he said, and she only smiled again.

Unfortunately, their small moment was cut short as a sharp banging on the bedroom door began. "If you two are quite done," Rebekah's annoyed voice started. "We need to go and look for Kol."

Frowning, Klaus moved past Jordyn and opened the door to his sister, who was standing with both hands on her hips. Jordyn smiled awkwardly, but Rebekah was rather intimidating, and it was hard for the expression to stay in place before it started to shift uncomfortably under the Original's stare.

"What's he done now?" Klaus asked, and Rebekah's eyes flickered back to her brother in a deadpan.

Rolling her eyes, Rebekah sighed. "If you two hadn't been going after each other like lustful animals, you could've been the ones calming Hayley down instead of me," she pouted, and Jordyn couldn't help the embarrassed flush on her face.

Klaus rolled his eyes, sighing once. "I'll speak with Hayley," he replied.

Rebekah scoffed. "Now would be preferred, unless you both are going for another round?" She raised a perfect eyebrow, and Jordyn looked to the ground, hiding her blush behind her hair. Nik gritted his teeth, his eyes sharp as they looked to his sister.

"Fine," he finally succumbed to Rebekah's puppy dog eyes, to which the blonde girl smiled victoriously at. Nik glanced at Jordyn, and she tilted her head in silent question as his eyes softened. "Will you be alright?"

Jordyn nodded immediately. "I'm okay," she responded easily, and he sent her one more nod—all the while, Rebekah was staring between them as if they were a complex math problem that she couldn't figure out the answer to.

Klaus, deciding that Jordyn's answer was good enough for him, left the room without another word, heading off to where Hayley surely was. Rebekah hesitated, studying Jordyn from the doorway and making the girl even more uncomfortable than she already was.

However, Jordyn couldn't help the small bit of pride when Rebekah nodded. "You know, I actually like you compared to the other women in his past," she commented wryly, and Jordyn widened her eyes.

"Thanks, I guess?" She answered, unsure. But, Rebekah only smiled at her, and Jordyn was surprised by the sincerity of her voice when the Mikaelson girl spoke next.

"Trust me, it's the best compliment you could get," she assured, and then she was gone too, leaving Jordyn in a state of mild confusion.

Deciding not to dwell too much on Rebekah's words, Jordyn turned and reached for the glass of blood that Klaus had provided earlier. He really went all out—even moving a mini-fridge filled with blood-bags into the room so that Jordyn wouldn't need to go far for the necessary nutrition. She found the whole thing a little over the top, but Nik was nothing if not prepared when it came to those he cared for. So, she accepted the hospitality and left her reservations at the door.
