Part 2 - On the way

Start from the beginning

- Mr Kondraki, we need to talk! - Cain screamed at him while running in his direction.

Director stopped and looked at us, while we have lowered the distance between us and him.

- I have already told you everything, you are free, enjoy the last moments of this universe in peace. - He said with sadness in eyes.

- That's why we are here, we want to prevent the apocalypse, and we already have a solution for that! - I said while looking into his eyes.

- A civilian? That's unexpected, but I am willing to listen to your offer.

- We want to use SCP-2003 and go back in time to gain some time and find a way to destroy SCP-PL-106, no matter the cost. - Abel exclaimed.

- This... This could actually work... - Director Kondraki said interested.

- I also had an idea to ask SCP-343 to help us with that. - Cain said while looking at him.

- I shouldn't do that... I want to enjoy this last day with my family, but for the greater good of the entire universe, I agree.

Having said that, he pulled put his keycard and gave it to Cain.

- Level 5, it will allow you to go anywhere you want. Officially I am level 4, I hope that when you go back in time, you will keep the fact that I belong to the O5 council as a secret.

- I promise, your secret will not be revealed. - Cain said whild holding his right hand on a chest.

- Then go, and save the universe.

Having said that, he left us and we have entered the facility. Corridors were light and not dark, because all facilities were now powered with computers. The amount of energy was limited to few days of work, but it was enough to keep humanity safe for the last day in case something like this happened. Having passed all zones, we have found a cell of SCP-343 and for our surprise, SCP-343 was standing on a corridor and drinking tea.

- Thank God, we have arrived just on time, humanity truely needs help right now! - Cain exclaimed while looking at SCP-343.

- I am afraid that I cannot help you with this one. It would have terrible effects on the entire Multiverse. - 343 said while looking at us with sadness.

- W-What are we supposed to do then? - Cain asked terrified.

- You already had an idea to go back in time with SCP-2003 in order to gain few extra weeks before everything ends. Despite the fact that I shouldn't do that, I will tell you how you can annihilate SCP-PL-106, but only if you manage to fulfill your plan.

- Is that even possible to destroy that thing without annihilating the universe? - Abel asked with curiosity.

- I will tell you everything when you meet me in the past. The longer we talk, the less time you have.

- But from what I am aware of, you are the creator of our universe, then why cannot you destroy that yourself? - Olivia asked with curiosity.

- As I already said, it would impact the entire Multiverse and cause more casualities than it has done through all its cycles. If we want to prevent that from happening, then you have to be the ones destroying it.

Having said that, he dissapeared from our sight. For few seconds we had been looking at the empty corridor, before we have decided to enter a helicopter and fly to our destination. We were forced to go through the entire facility again in order to find a helicopter waiting for us.

It wasn't the only one in there. In fact, most of them have not been taken away despite the fact, that most of Mobile Task Forces have left the facility. Having chosen the vastest one, we have entered it and found enough parachutes for all of us in case something went wrong.

- Okay, who is going to pilot this thing? - I have asked while looking at the group.

- None of us can drive a car, do you believe, that somebody will be able to pilot a helicopter? - Myung-Ok said dissapointed.

- Actually, I have learnt how to pilot this thing while I was in Pandora's Box, so if you allow me, I will take care of that. - Abel exclaimed while looking at us.

- You said you hit a tree while driving a car, and now you say that piloting a helicopter is easier for you? - Iris asked with curiosity.

- In the air you don't have to worry about that many obstacles, and this is what makes it easier. Where should I fly though?

- Bring us to Japan, and when we get there, I will navigate you to Site-47.

- Alright brother, lets go.

Having said that, he sat on the front seat and grabbed the steering wheel, while we have sat behind him and fastened our seat belts. Abel activated the machine and after few seconds we have been flying to Japan.

During the flight I was wondering, what would happen if we failed? Would there be a different way to reverse the time and prevent that thing from destroying everything? Or would it crush everything in the entire universe into a massive black hole at the center of it?

I had thousands of different thoughts in my head, both positive and negative ones, and I didn't know what to do. I truly hoped we would survive, but deep inside my head I had a bad feeling about this.

However, my thoughts have been interrupted by Abel exclaiming that we have arrived to Site-47. All of us were excited about our success, however it did not last for long.

- I know that you are happy, but I have got some bad news. Despite the fact that I know how to pilot a helicopter, I have no idea how to land it and we have to skydive, I am sorry.

Some of us got scared, but luckily I loved extreme sports so having chosen a parachute for myself, I opened the door and jumped down. Strong, cold wind hit my face while I was looking down and counting to 20 before pulling the string. Having done that, I felt a force on my body preventing me from falling too fast and crushing on the ground. Cold and unpleasant wind has turned into a comfortable and enjoyable breeze, which was slowly moving my body.

I looked up and saw, that everyone had opened their patachutes and they were slowly falling with me. However, when I thought, that everyone was lucky with their parachutes opening, I have heard a loud scream and I saw a person falling down next to me and crushing on the ground.

For a second I was afraid that somebody died, before I realised, that it was Cain who was the unlucky guy. When I landed next to him, I didn't see any wounds on his body, which was a good sign, because his ability saved him, but I knew, that despite being alive, he still felt the pain from this incident.
