Chapter Eight

A few days later

Dream's pov

Me and Ink are hiding in the Au we were in a few days ago, a day before Blue disappeared. We are where the other skeleton attacked Blue, Ink think this is the person who has Blueberry. I can hear footsteps, Ink heard as well and we both in the direction they came from. I can see a skeleton wearing a faded hoodie, both me and Ink teleport in front of him with our weapons drawn. 

"I was told you might come for you friend soon" He knows we were coming!? He doesn't even seem worried, just annoyed 

"So you have him" Ink glares at this skeleton who we think is named Dust 

"Maybe, maybe not." He grins at us before lunging forward to attack, Ink quickly blocks with his brush. We are going to beat him and get Blueberry back 

Blueberry's pov   

I flopped off the couch and rolled across the floor 

"I'M BORED" I yell when I roll into the wall at the other side of the room, Dust is gone and I can't get out of this house. And I have finished all the puzzles. I roll back into the middle of the floor and lay on my back, I stare at the ceiling. I miss Papy. And Ink. And Dream. I jump to my feet when I hear a portal open next to me, I look through it and see it leads to a completely, empty, white void. I run through into the Anti-Void, I look around for a few moments until someone drops down from their strings in front of me 

"Error!" I sit on the floor next him and see that he has one of his puppets

"ooh~ Which one is that?" Error turns and looks at me with his usual 'I hate everyone and everything' face 

"It'S InK" I see his cheekbones turn slightly blue, I am the only one that knows about his crush on Ink. They are complete opposites and mortal enemies but I think Ink likes him too.

"Aww that's cute" Error glitches out

"NO iT's NOt¡" Error pulls his scarf over his face and the sound of very loud, glitched screaming fills the Anti-Void. I reach over and grab the puppet out of Error's hands, I look over it closely. I notice that it's incredibly detailed, there's even the sash that Ink wears to keep his vials safe. I miss them, Error snatches the Ink puppet back and uses his strings to hold it out of my reach. 

"You added more to it" 

"YeS, I dID tHE SamE tO tHe reSt" My eyes light up when Error says that 

"CAN I SEE THEM!?" Error clicks his fingers and all the puppets fall down from somewhere above us, I start looking through them for the Dream puppet 

Dust's pov 

I fire a blaster towards a portal that the annoying Star Sanses just ran through, they could barely touch me. I only have a few scratches, they were much worse. I should have finished them off. I teleport back into my house, I look around and feel like somethings missing. BLUE! I teleport upstairs to his room and he's not there, I teleport back to the living room and start searching for him. I notice something that was obvious to see but I missed when I looked around quickly a few seconds ago, there's one of Error's portals. I waste no time and run through it and I see..

"ERROR PUT ME DOWN!!" Blue was tangled in Error's strings hanging upside down by his feet, I don't see Error 

"I sAid nO hUGs" I look up and see Error lying down in a hammock made from his strings, he's holding something made of white and brown fabric 

"THAT'S PRACTICALLY DARING ME TO HUG YOU" I see Blueberry struggle with the strings wrapped around his ankles, he freezes for a moment before yelling something 

"I'LL TELL INK THAT YO-" Blue gets get off as the strings holding him up disappear and he hit the 'floor' with a thud. I feel a wave of anger that Error just dropped MY Baby Blue, he could of hurt him. I pull Blue over to me with blue magic

"W-Whoa, Dust?" Blue is surprised to see me and out of the corner of my eye I can see Error look down at me from his hammock

"ANd wHy ArE yOu HeRe?" Error jumps down from the hammock and rolls his eyelights 

"Just bringing MY Baby Blue back home." I grab Blue's arm and started walking towards the still open portal 

"hEy dON't puLL HiM aRouNd" I look back at Error and he storms up to me. I push Blue through the portal and turn to face Error. 

"He's mine so I can do what I want with him" 

"THaT DoESn't MeaN yOU cAn tReAt HiM LikE sOme SOrt oF PUpPet!" 

"Don't you have puppets?" 

"ThEy'Re nOt LIVinG, ThEY dON't FeEL" The portal closes as me and Error keep fighting  

Error's pov (only doing the glitchy text when he's speaking)

Dust and I continue yelling at each other for a while, and I learn why Blue was in dusttale in the first place 

"YOu CAn't tAKe BLuE OUt OF HiS AU" 

"He doesn't need anyone from there anymore" What!? Dust is more insane than I thought 

"He MiSsEs THe sTarS AnD HiS PaPYrUS. If YOu DOn't I'LL taKe BluEBeRry BaCk MysELF!" I turn away from Dust and go to open a portal when a stabbing pain in my arm stops me, I clutch my arm with my hand and see a purple bone stabbed through my arm. I turn back to face Dust 

"WhaT  WAs tHaT asSHOLE!" I quickly dodge three more bones that Dust sends flying at me, I can barely dodge a forth that rips the fabric of my sweater

"NO ONE TAKES MY BLUE AWAY FROM ME" Dust summons blasters all around me and I jump to avoid them. When the dust settles from the blasts, Dust is gone. I look all around the Anti-Void for anyone but it's only me here. I collapse to the floor and rip out the bone from my arm. There's no sounds, not even the voices. I hear a portal open and summon my own bones, aiming at who walks out 

"Error, I need help"
