A defeated figure

129 75 13

Her frame was light

Her heart was heavy

With all the recollections

She couldn't share

Even the sea waves were ready to accommodate

Her defeated figure

Rather than some mortals

Who were too blind
To see the innocence
Of her eyes

------------------

-What makes her keep going -

There wasn't a day

When the sun didn't
throw fire

And moon didn't hide
Behind clouds

To make the night darker

But the greed of trapping
Extinguished but glossy lights

Reflecting from
The sea

Makes her keep going

Through the day filled with
Prickles

And night accompanied by
Hunters

These two poems are actually interconnected so I posted them in one chapter ...~♥~
