It's been about five months since you last saw him.

He was the love of your life. Or so you thought he was.

You thought you were going to be with him for the rest of your life. You pictured your whole life with him. You both would stay up talking about your future together. So why was it so easy for him to leave?

You both were high school sweethearts, the whole school admired the relationship you both had.

Everyone was shocked to hear that Sebastien dumped you at your senior graduation party

To this day your heart hasn't left him

You both had a big platform on TikTok and on social media everyone wanted the relationship you both had. It seemed as if everyone was devastated by the news. But it wouldn't compare to the major heartbreak that you were going through.

You decided today was going to be the day you go out and look for a new start

You went to the mall and bought a couple of clothes. A few new clothes is one step to fixing a heartbreak

You walked out the store when you suddenly crashed into someone, making you drop the tons of bags fall to the floor

"Sorry" a familiar voice speaks

Your head shoots up. 'There's no way' you thought to yourself

You look at the person you were hoping it wouldn't be

But to your luck. It was him

"Sebastien" your voice cracks

"(Y/N)" he says rather shocked

You both stare at each other for a couple of moments

He breaks the silence "h-how are you?" He stutters "how have you been?"

You fake a smile and quickly come up with a lie "all good"

He nods awkwardly "that's good"

"Yeah" you nod as well

"You look beautiful as always" he smiles at you

You feel your heart flutter at his smile that always drove you crazy

Maybe this was a sign for you both to get back together. Maybe the universe wanted you to be together. Just as you were about to open your mouth you were shot down

"There you are babe" a brunette girl came to Sebastien's side

You feel your heart break into a million pieces. She was beautiful

Sebastien's eyes quickly widened

"Who's this?" The mysterious girl smiles at you

Sebastien awkwardly scratches his neck "This is (Y/N)" he introduces his "an old friend from high school" he adds

An old friend? Was those four years nothing to him? They meant everything to me. He meant everything to me.

She nods smiling and offering you her hand "I'm Fernanda, his girlfriend"

You politely shake her hand "it's nice to meet you" you fake a smile "well it was nice seeing you again" you face Sebastien "hope you have a nice life" you tell him

You see him open his mouth "(Y/N) wai-"

You turn around and begin walking away. Ignoring him call your name repeatedly.

You throw a hand over your mouth to cover the sobs that were begging to leave your mouth

All it took was five months.
