"Then you're dreaming," Benny dragged out and looked at Stern with a pathetic smile.

"No, I'm not!" Stern quickly motioned his hand, releasing a subtle amount of purple sparkles, towards the ring on Benny's hand and pulled it off, holding it now in his hand. He examined it intenty, "So that's what this does. I never thought to try it on."

Benny stood before him and swallowed thickly, "I can explain."

"Oh, I know you can," Stern pushed himself up and off the desk as he led himself towards Benny, gently pressing his finger against the tall lanky boy's forehead. In the form of a trance, Benny's eyes rolled into the back of his head.

"I'm a wizard and we're looking for a magic marble and Ethan is a seer and has visions.." Benny spoke in a monotone voice. Stern held back his finger and smirked. Fallen against the ground, Benny grew unconscious after Stern smiled wickedly and left the office, slipping the projection ring on to take the form of Benny.

Peering down the hall, you grew worried as you haven't seem Benny since your Geography class. He missed lunch which caused you to worry even more. You scurried down the hall and peered into any empty classrooms in hopes of finding him.

You turned into the hall of the main office and saw that it was completely empty, so secretary and no Hicks or Stern. You swallowed thickly when you looked ahead to see Benny laying against the floor of Stern's office.

"Benny!" You breathed out and hurried inside, kneeling down to cup his face as he had been knocked out cold. You breathed shakily and stared down at him. You took your cold fingertips and gently pressed them against his neck, just below his ear. A steady thumping was felt beneath your fingers. You sighed in relief and slowly pulled his body up, having his arm draped over your shoulders. You stood him up and released a soft grunt, walking him out of the school through the backdoors.

"Come on, I'm gonna get you home," You whispered softly as his body felt heavier against yours.

Walking down the hall, squeezing between several students, Ethan found Benny seated against a table in the principal's office. He released a nervous breath and scurried inside, taking a seat across the table before his best friend.

"Benny, you've been gone forever. By the way, if anyone asks, you have a complicated bladder condition called–" Ethan spoke breathlessly.

"Later. I looked through Stern's office. There's no sign of the Lucifractor. But.. I found this. It's for you," Benny sat with his right leg crossed over the other. He gestured a small piece of paper with Ethan's name written on it.

Furrowing his brow, Ethan reached over to grab the letter, unfolding it to only have his eyes grow pale, taking a sharp breath as he could see Stern speaking to him through his mind.

"I never would have guessed you were a seer or that you would know about the Lucifractor. The Bat Brigade stole the Lucifractor from my family and then they took Whitechapel itself. Now that I have one, I'll take back the other.." Stern was wearing his black cloak as he stared blankly in Ethan's vision, in a haze of purple that surrounded him. "My grandfather, Galen Sinestro, would be so proud of me," Another hooded figure was quickly shown in his vision before coming back to Stern, "And if you're thinking of getting in my way, here's a peek at the coming attractions.." Forming a large purple, red energy ball in between his fingers and motioned it fiercely out upon the letter and into Ethan's mind, causing him to be pulled from his vision, wincing in pain.
