"Have you looked under L for Lucifractor?" Benny glanced back at the two of you as Ethan looked in the trash can while Benny was looking through filing cabinets.

"I don't see it," Ethan breathed out.

You grumbled and opened another drawer of his desk, peering into it to find some of your guys' old stuff. "Check it out, guys! Our alien DNA detector guards, our psionic helmet, and the eye of Zartak," You grinned as you pulled out the several items Stern has confiscated from the three of you.

"I never realized how much of our magic stuff Stern's taken away from us," Ethan pointed out, making you form your lips in a frown as you nodded softly in agreement.

"Guys, I found it," Benny smiled as he peered into one of the cabinets alongside the wall.

"The Lucifractor?" Ethan asked as he walked towards Benny. You pushed yourself up and out of Stern's wheeled chair, walking around his desk to go see what Benny found.

"No, better. My Forever Flask! Infinite root beer!" He exclaimed and leaned his head back as he chugged down the pop. You rolled your eyes softly and nudged his side as he continued to drink.

"Benny, that's not what we're looking for," You stated and crossed your arms over your chest.

"Really?" Stern's voice was heard as the three of you jumped, Benny spit his rootbeer out across the room as you leaped behind Ethan, gripping his shoulders.

"What are you looking for?" Stern had a devilish grin on his face as he stared at the three of you.

"Your nerd pile will sit in my office until the end of the year. And you will sit in detention until.. the sun dies. Now get to class," Stern escorted you out of his office and you all stood in a line with ashamed looks upon your face. You nervously chewed on the inside of your bottom lip as your fingers went to your sapphire bracelet, tracing it.

Stern left into his office and the door slammed shut. You glanced up at Benny who looked between you and Ethan with a bashful gaze. "Gotta go, guys.. The terror is starting to leak out," He scurried behind the two of you and into the bathroom. You released a gentle sigh and watched him go as you remained by Ethan's side, patting his shoulder lightly.

"That was a mistake," He released in a whisper. You glanced up to see Sarah walking towards the two of you. You gave her a soft smile and stepped back to give them privacy. You leaned your back against the wall beside the boys' bathroom with your arms crossed over your chest to see listen in on Sarah and Ethan's conversation.

"Still thinking about our date last night, huh?" She spoke with a nervous smile.

"No, Benny, Y/N and I were just– wait, what?" Ethan widened his eyes softly, "You thought our date was a mistake?"

"Well, I guess. If you do," Sarah's face flushed softly with embarrassment. "I mean.."

"Oh. Yeah, yeah. Totally. I guess sometimes you gotta to try something before you know how horrible it'll be," Ethan released softly and as soon as it escaped his lips, he regretted it immediately. You cringed your teeth as you watched them, awkwardly.

"Oh. Right, yeah.." Sarah nervously brushed her hair behind her ear and walked away from Ethan with her head hung low.

"Yeah.." Ethan whispered and watched her go.
