On Extravagance (Israaf)

Israaf is that which oversteps the limit. Israaf is not only in overspending. It can be in many forms:

1. Cooking more than enough ending up throwing the food in the bins.

2. Leaving a tap running when not using it etc.

Allah says in the holy Quran

"But waste not by excess: for Allah loves not the wasters."

(Quran 6:141)

Fellow Muslims, avoid Israaf. Allah dislikes this act.
