The soldier was utterly shocked after reading the note and realized that Bala was actually Mahin's son!
"Oh shit!" the soldier cursed and before he could move, he heard five successive loud shots! The echoes rang around the building.
Fearing the worst, the soldier ran to the other room, while holding the note in his hand. He slammed open the door, only to see the worst.
Bala laid on the floor, motionless. Blood slowly oozed out from the little boy's chest. Mahin stood in front of the dead boy, still holding the smoking gun in his hand, turned and looked at the soldier, and gave out a smirk of accomplishment.
The soldier felt like the world had just come crashing down on him.
Horrified and disgusted by Mahin's smile, he handed out the note to Mahin, without saying another word.
Mahin took the note, and read it.
