"El?" Alex whispered, I'd zoned out staring at the plate of chips without noticing, blinking myself out of my daze I plastered on a small smile as I looked over at him.
"Thinkin' of shavin' this off." Alex said, rubbing a hand over his chin slowly.
"Aw no I like it." Alex sent me a shocked expression at my remark, I shrugged with a small smile, I liked it on him, but he'd suit whatever I suppose.
"It's a bit annoyin' so I reckon I'll shave it and maybe, maybe I'll grow it out again just to keep yer 'appy." A smile made its way onto my lips once more at his words, he chuckled lightly as he reached for a chip and threw it into his mouth.
The bell on the diner entrance door rang out causing Alex and I to both crane our heads over to the noise, three figures came strolling in and I immediately recognised the one in the front. His jet black permed hair sat perfectly on his head, black hoodie along with his black denim cargo bottoms and trainers, the aroma of smoke and alcohol filling our nostrils straight away just from their sudden presence.
Jules Blaine.
"Evenin'" Jules nodded down at me as him and his two friends walked straight past Al and I and went to the back of the diner to secure theirselves a booth.
I gripped the edge of my seat and gulped slowly, I could feel myself getting a little hot and going red under the lights but I didn't want Alex to notice my sudden uncomfort.
"You alright?" Oh shit. Too late.
"Yeah? What makes you say that?" I laughed, brushing off the subject of why I looked like I was about to throw up my last ten meals.
"You just seemed uneasy all of a sudden.." Alex shrugged, reaching for another chip.
"You know 'im?" He nodded toward Jules' table behind me right at the very back, I craned my head over my shoulder quickly before looking back to Alex.
"Yeah he lives near me." I mumbled, another lie but Alex didn't need to know who Jules actually was, I grabbed a chip and stuffed it in my mouth so I'd have an excuse not to talk for a minute.
"I'm just gonna head to the bathroom excuse me a moment." I said to Alex, tapping my hands on the table lightly as I slipped out the booth and made my way toward the loo.

"You owe me money." A deep voice spoke up as I made my way out of the women's bathrooms.
"Fucking hell Jules way to give someone a heart attack." I clutched my chest as Jules emerged from the darkness, his whole black outfit and hair attire seemed to make him very mysterious.
"120 euros El, where is it?" Jules held his palm out gesturing for me to pay him, I folded my arms over my chest and turned my head to the side.
"I'll get it to you soon, I haven't been working recently." My voice came out barely a whisper.
"I need it Eleanor, I've got your last package of the month, if you haven't paid me by the 15th, you know what my dealer gets like." Jules demanded quite calmly actually, but I didn't like his attitude, he dug his hand into his pocket before fishing out a orange tub filled with about 8 pills, he handed it to me slowly and I tucked it straight into my back pocket.
